IshmaelIsBack
Developer : Platinum Games Publisher : Activision Director : Kenji Saito (Metal Gear Rising) Producer : Atsushi Kurooka Genre : Action Platform(s) : PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox ONE, PC Release : Fall 2015 Transformers Devastation is an action game developed by Platinum Games. Only the Autobots are playable characters and there are 5 of them - Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack & Grimlock (YES, f**k YES). The core gameplay is designed with ground and air combat in mind and both being seamless in transition, much like Bayonetta more than any other of Platinum's previous outings. There are basic transformations mid-combos where you can end them with or continue the juggle with chains/cancels - dodge transforms (parry not confirmed as of yet) - and a new mechanic called rush attack where the vehicle charges up for a finisher. The game is based on the Generation 1 Transformers and the plot revolves around Megatron when he finds a way to harness the power of plasma energy to cyberfom earth. The "AUTOBOTS ENGAGE". The original acclaimed VA's including Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Gregg Berger among many others reprise their respective roles. Art design is entirely based on G1 to bring the verse back to life.
