This is by the same developer that made Urban Chaos: Riot Response. You can actually see the similarities with some of the level and standard minion designs.

Not that that's a bad thing, mind. I really liked Urban Chaos. The combat was quite visceral, which bodes well for this game.

Dude that game was pretty sick. In fact when I heard of the game for the first time I thought it was a remake of Urban Chaos but as I played teh game I was like WHOA! this sh*t is awesome. Also I pestered EA a lot for any info regarding the Dark Knight game but they didn't relent. Dammit!

It would make more sense for them to just can it. I read somewhere (was it on this forum?) that some of the gameplay elements just weren't working out.

As much as I'd like to see a freeroaming batman game, I don't want to see it turn into The Godfather II.

GameStop's Batman: Arkham Asylum Sweepstakes Is Go!

aa_sweepstakes.jpg

The GameStop contest we told you about earlier this week, the one that could secure you a cell in Batman: Arkham Asylum, has officially launched at the games retailer's official site. The "Life In Arkham" sweepstakes will put your face in the upcoming Eidos game, something you'll have to be patient for, as the title won't ship until August of 2009. There are no hoops to jump through (and no purchase is required) that we can see. Just submit your info and go. Good luck!
