    You need to pay $10 or some equiv for the upgrade.

    it will work, Region 2 is basically EMEA. (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Sony in its great wisdom, somehow considers India to be a part of the EMEA group, so we get Region 2 copies and our DLCs etc from the PS Store are of that region.
