Chewie Posted December 26, 2011 Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 (edited) considering how badly we have started series in the past if we get them out for <350 we'll have done a decent job. india usually gets better as series progresses. but once again we allowed runs to be made by a batsman making his debut and another in the twilight struggling with his career. bowling was just a bit short. fuller bowling would've got us in a better position.  some gripes -  tata sky hd sound mix sucks. the audio level of the match is soft and the promos in between are 3 times as loud. have to keep adjusting the volume  why the hell is ganguly licking ponting's a** so much ?! even during the WC and here again. havent heard him praise and back any other player so much.  same old tired voices on star cricket again - shastri and akram shastri after ponting got out after making 60 and putting on a 100+ stand says "timing for india couldnt be better"! umm, yes it could - his wicket before he helped put on 100 runs would've been much much better, wouldnt you say? he repeated it after clarke was out after 60 run stand.  also ganguly - you dont need to begin every sentence with "and there you see.." tv is visual medium so yes we do see Edited December 26, 2011 by filmguy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
