I think the "right" people would have messed it up by making the game more open with less invisible walls, that seems to be one of the main complaints of the game. But while others like openness, I hate it. I want a straightforward level design with enemies slash in style, which is exactly what this game is about. It doesn't even have any side quests, literally no BS, plain old school fun!

I mean the combat is good, the guy certainly have talent for it. But with only 8 mil budget and 10 years of time the game had gone through a lot of issues. They had to scrap their original idea and build from the start after they got some financial help from Sony PlayStation. Yang Bing couldn't find the right or say experienced people for the job. This kind of combat took 6 years of development which should've been done under 2 years. Also because the developers had no experience whatsoever all the other aspects of the game took a big hit. Like Story, characters, graphics, music, camera and protagonist movements and VO. This game could've been really good if there would be right people working behind it. The boss battles were fine but other than that there's nothing in this game. I'm actually glad that you liked it, I hope Yang Bing don't stop here because of low morale and start working on the next single player project. They should release their next game as a AA with lower price point rather than AAA game. Which however was one of the big reasons that pissed many people.

Yeah you can say it, it is kinda like old school but controls are modern and it plays like a PS5 game, no issues with controls or camera or graphics. Now I am pretty sure the reviewers are gonna be swayed by online public review and will try to down-score this game. It is honestly disheartening to see that a beautiful game like this receive unnecessary negative reception. Besides, the game has zero bugs, zero performance issues and looks better than majority of "premium" games out there. Playing on performance mode. It plays like a mix of DMC and Darksiders 1. World and levels are like Final Fantasy 7.

It’s a China Hero Project. What were ppl actually expecting out of it….. Treat it like a PS2 nostalgia game in flashy paste.

I doubt majority of the people who are hating on this game even played this game. They are complaining about the things which don't even exist in the game and have no clue what the game is about. I am enjoying every moment of this game. People are rating for the sale of it. It may end up my overall GOTY this year.
