arjwiz
Couple of pertinent questions: 1) How do you save your team's formation? I created a formation and arranged my tactics. Now I went to "Data Management" in the Game Plan, and copied the data and saved it in one of the 6 available boxes. For the next match, I want to load this data. So I went back to Data Management, and clicked on Load from Stock Data. I loaded the formation, but it didnt show up anywhere. Any help? 2) Where do I download the latest / best option files onto the PS3 from?

VanillaDuo
1) Go to data management>>>>Load the formations>>>>Select copy and choose which one you need and replace the default (which is on top) with it.

Joy
Today I found a way to use Dual Shock3/Sixaxis controller on PC for playing PES 10. Here's the guide :- http://www.ehow.com/how_5638469_use-dualsh...troller-pc.html , http://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/147874-play...-pads-your.html I also have a X360 wired controller for PC , but everyone knows the d-pad of Sony's controller is miles better than X360 controllers d-pad for football games. After following instruction u need to map the buttons as per the controller shown in the config option of PES10 in the game folder. Works great for me , note that this only works on 32-bit OS of XP and Vista, not 64bit. Joy

Nemo
ok. ok. here is a question. How does PES for PC (read PC) compare to FIFA for consoles (read ps3) ? I know that- FIFA console > FIFA pc by a f**king country mile FIFA console >/= PES console to some FIFA is better, not by much though while to some both are equal obviously i am asking about the 2010 version. I know commentary is sad in all versions of pes but i have heard on pc it looks beautiful, so how does the look, gameplay on PC PES stack up to a console fifa ? dont care about online. ps4geek
I have the full pc version of Pes 10 and console demo of Fifa 10 and from what I have made out is that Pes 10 is more life like while Fifa 10 has a cartoonish look. Now cartoonish over here can be described as more colourful , vibrant. Also the player detailing in Fifa is shitty when you compare to Pes 10 ...not that Fifa 10 is that bad by any stretch of imagination , its just that Pes 10 looks so much better than Fifa in player detailing and lighting. Plus you can have mods for Pes Pc version and that enhances gameplay tremendously !! Pes 10 (pc) pawns Fifa 10 on any hardware at least for me
SchneideR
Guys the new update (not the version 1.02) with the new kits for some of the clubs and many player faces (Vermelen, Valencia, Ivanovic, Serjio Asenjo etc) is live. You need to go to system settings and click on DOWNLOAD. Then install it. Remember: If you have done any cosmetic changes to any of the players who have been tweaked then these changes will not be applied. The update 1.02 ensures that any new updates will not affect your edit data. For example: i had tweaked Valencia's game face before this update. After the update was done the change was not reflected. In such a scenario you need to make his face and hairstyle (yes both) as "DEFAULT" and then apply this update. If the first time update couldnt make the necessary changes that you needed then delete the edit data and the downloaded update (from saved file folder of PS3) and redo the whole thing again... I did that and then i applied Sam Rainey's edit file. Works like a charm.
killroy
@Nemo who said: "FIFA console > FIFA pc by a f**king country mile FIFA console >/= PES console to some FIFA is better, not by much though while to some both are equal " You totally forgot the people who think that PES is WAY better than FIFA...'by a f**king country mile'...yes those people do exist. PES on PC with all the right mods is a much more life like experience than FIFA can ever be. All the neat television tricks that the mod employs enhance the game to a really good experience. Lots of gamers I know walked in while i was playing PES(injected with mods) and thought I was watching a broadcast match...though the animations gave it away. But thats one small niggle I have...if you can ignore the sometimes robotic movements of the players...then this is the best football game on the market. Having the PC version with mod support makes that a fact. Also the UEFA presentation...is WOW! P.S: Speaking of animations, in Master League once you have outfitted your players with the right 'cards', they start pulling off some crazy passes that you can only watch in a real game. I mean you can still see those amazing movements in an exhibition match...but in master league when you are building up a useless team...the changes are absolutely significant...I was playing with Bolton wanderers season three and had got the quick turn and pass card for one of my players...chap was doing gymnastics on the pitch
Nemo
thanks for the answers.. I actually sold my fifa 10 for ps3 and was thinking if i am being an a*s, what with being a football fan and all, i would build a gaming rig in a few months and was thinking of picking cheaper version of the game as i am not much of an online gamer, prefer more of a fantasy scenarios and clashes- tourneys (yeah laugh all u want, the same thing is revered in rpg's) unlike the online where every guy cant seem to look beyond real madrid, barca or inter. as fifa sucks on pc, i thought of the alternative, nice to know that pes shows love to pc also, i heard about the absence of bundesliga in the game, but have heard there is a way to go around it via patches ?? really ?? a whole league ? how is it true and how effective is that ? Joy
^^ Yes patches add Bundesliga to the game , as matter of fact patches make PES 10 times better that it actually is.PC version patches as time goes will be get better and better , which adds new stadiums , tv logos , along with fan chants etc.. Just play PES once , you'll never look back at Fifa , trust me on this.
killroy
@Nemo...give it a try...PC+PES+patches=EPIC FTW!!!
