    ALAN WAKE 2

When devs post these kind if requirements - it really does not seem impressive to me. It's not "Pushing PCs", rather it tells me devs have not bothered with PC Optimization at all and it will be a really bad port, with PCs requiring to brute force it with overly powerful hardware. Also seeing the gameplay of Alan Wake 2 - the graphics are not the equivalent of what Crysis 1 was back in the day to demand such hardware.
  2. Yup - this I know. I was only stirring the pot a bit. But yeah - if the game was ready for the S and X versions and they needed to only remove split-screen - I feel they could have released the game very quickly, giving definitive dates by now, instead of a vague "Just this Year" statement.
  3. Can also easily mean Financial Year - which means it can be exclusive till end of March 2024. Companies can play with words that way.
  4. Good - now please add World of Warcraft to GPU quickly and get rid of the $15/month sub. That's one of the only worth-while game from Blizzard at the moment.
  5. Can easily skip Indian Gamepass too if there's licensing issue or if SEGA explicitly asks them not to. Not being there on any store is actually an indicator that there is some problem.

    Spider-Man 2

Not really. Knight was too much held back by the forced klunky Bat-Mobike chase sections But frankly- Spidey 1 already de-throned City. Combat was the proper successor to City and exploration was far, far better. Question is - will Spidey 2 de-throne Spidey 1
  7. Deleted because I posted wrong info
  8. Comparing this to Cyberpunk and calling Cyberpunk as Paid shilling? Really? You really should read the patch notes of Cyberpunk first - especially Patch notes of version 2.0 and above. They've literally changed everything from base AI to entire Gameplay. Then they've released a DLC that is pushing the game to GOTY levels and is getting 9s and 10s from most outlets -because it's that good. Redfall will be more successful if it does even 50% of the changes that CDPR has made on Cyberpunk.
  9. AC has a lot of fans who like to see games set in medieval times around the World. That is one thing AC does decently well - it caters a bit to the history buffs. The main charm of this game though (For me at least) - is that they went to the historical Middle East. Almost 99% of games are set either in US or EU (Western Civilizations). Japan started recently with GoT. And no game explores any culture beyond that at all. Same reason the game I liked in the recent ACs was Origins because it was set in Cleopatra's Egypt and not the over-hyped Odyssey. But yeah - might get the game later, because I already have games to play right now.
  10. There are too many previous gen consoles out there to ignore the market entirely. Sony released some next gen only games in their 1st year - like Demon's Souls Remake, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and Returnal, but even they found it made less economic sense, so they switched back to cross-gen - and Sony is in the business to ensure that more PS5 units are sold. Otherwise Horizon 2 was originally meant to be a next-gen only game. I think the only reason Spiderman 2 is even next-gen only is because they could not find a way to work in the 2 character switching on the previous gen. Because if we ignore the 2 character switching - then the game might as well be a cross-gen DLC like Miles Morales and there will be little differentiating factor between the 1st Spiderman Game(s) and Spiderman 2 - which will hit the franchise negatively. They would have made this Cross-gen also otherwise.
  11. This game was originally meant to be a DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. They just expanded a bit on that and are selling it as a separate game. So this game was always cross-gen - because it's root is Valhalla, which is a cross gen game. It's why they're selling it for a lesser price as well, compared to brand new AC Games. I expect the true next-gen AC game will be the next true AC Game which is AC Red (The game set in Japan).
  12. This was I think one of their very first international cricket matches. You really should not be so critical. I hope they improve with time and come on to the international stage properly. We really need far more new teams in International Cricket or the sport will lack excitement - and might even die later down the line. Right now, even teams who were very good once upon a time have pretty much left the sport or are nowhere to be seen. West Indies - one time champions - did not qualify for the World Cup. Old teams who regularly came to the World Cup like Kenya, Zimbabwe etc. are pretty much dead. Even major teams like Sri Lanka, Pakistan etc. are slowly fading away it seems. As far as performance is concerned - it's not their sport, they're just starting so we can't really argue. If we argue in this - they might just start comparing how China does vs India in Olympics. We are exactly like Mongolia in that category.
  13. SE should have learned by now not to make Western/American style games - especially from their JRPG Teams (Forspoken was such a game, and Avengers was of course a completely American Marvel property). They had poor reception and sales with Star Ocean: The Divine Frontier and Valkyrie Elysium as well, but I don't think those were that expensive games and they can make money from giving it on PS+/GamePass I guess Just my opinion on the matter
  14. Huge News from TGS: Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name will be releasing on GamePass on Day 1 on Release Day (Nov. 9th, 2023) Like A Dragon Ishin (released earlier this year) is also coming to Gamepass this year - though the date is not yet set!! Source: https://www.ign.com/articles/like-a-dragon-gaiden-the-man-who-erased-his-name-a-day-one-xbox-game-pass-title Microsoft is going all in and giving a lot of importance to the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise it seems😅
  15. Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Own Name (The Yakuza Game releasing in November) is not there on Indian PSN. Indian Steam dies not show price of the game. Can anyone check if it's there on XSX/XSS Indian Live Store and what's the price there? I hope this game is not skipping India release
  16. It's like this - Is Harry Potter valuable? If a brand new Harry Potter game comes out for exactly 1 system - will people buy that system? Now change the IP to something far more valuable in the World (But not as popular in India). Take Pokemon for example. Kids, people who grew up with Pokemon and Competitive Pokemon players rush to buy these games. They are completely non-gamers otherwise - but just for Pokemon, they will buy these devices. Believe me - the last few Pokemon Games are not of "Legendary" quality or anything like that - but just the name and theme is enough. You have multi-million seller photography games in the series - and people gladly buy Switch for that. They will play nothing else - but just for that they'll buy the device. And their number is easily in the millions. Regarding your point of Quality: The latest Pokemon Game (Scarlet/Violet) has a 72 Meta. It's considered by many to be a buggy mess, with extremely poor graphics, and frame rate that tanks hard on the system. Want to know how it did in sales? It sold close to 23 million in 10 months without any significant sales or discounts at all. That's the power of IP and crazed fan-base. In India - you see this to a limited extent in FIFA (Non gamers buying system just to play FIFA, and nothing else at all). But the FIFA craze is nothing compared to what goes on over popular brands in the World. There can be Cloud, Smart Phones etc. - but just have a single Pokemon Game exclusive - and you have a guaranteed automatic multi-million seller in your hands.
  17. They can go berserk if they want - but as far as I know - it's exceptionally hard to acquire Japanese firms. That too firms on the scale of Nintendo. MS had such huge problems with Acti-Blizz - well acquiring Acti-Blizz is child's play compared to acquiring Nintendo. Most likely it will have to go to the scale of US Govt. putting pressure on the Japanese Govt. to allow such an acquisition. Nintendo is a company that comes under "Japan's Pride and Joy" companies I think. It's also one of the most major companies that allows Japan to have a part in the Video Game industry in the first place. If Nintendo goes - Japan has no major place in the Video Game industry and Sony might as well be bankrupt at that point - they have no way to compete. Playstation is not invincible. Sony as a whole might be because they are too diversified and many of the units are failures or on completely different industries for it to be a possible acquisition - but it's possible to drive out competition from Sony and acquire the PS division (What MS is doing currently) Nintendo though is a different beast altogether. They have some of the most valuable IPs in the World. People will buy devices just to play their games -whether there is cloud or not. Their IPs are in fact bigger than CoD or GTA. Pokemon is the biggest IP in the World. Mario is the 8th or 9th biggest IP. Add Zelda in there too. These are bigger than Harry Potter - people will go where these IPs are and not the other way around. https://www.titlemax.com/discovery-center/money-finance/the-25-highest-grossing-media-franchises-of-all-time/ https://thehill.com/changing-america/enrichment/arts-culture/575813-the-top-10-media-franchises/ There's a reason Phil Spencer calls acquiring Nintendo his "Career Defining moment (If it happens)". Take Nintendo and he delivers the entire Video Game industry to MS
  18. Phil Spencer's next (and most prized) acquisition goal is Nintendo!! He describes it as "The Prized Asset" for MS to acquire!! The best of luck for that https://www.eurogamer.net/phil-spencer-describes-nintendo-as-the-prime-asset-for-xbox-to-acquire?fbclid=IwAR0oAHW3NlJMxBTG_VrAigpSZWaqNVJpHwTCeTgzVLfMR98z_RgJ0r1X_JM
  19. Gameplay Trailer: Gameplay Trailer showing combat, new jobs, new mini-games and side content etc. Story Trailer: The Cameraman Kiryu at the very beginning Extremely hilarious moments - but seems this will have a heavy main story too!! This game looks just too good at this point. Can't wait for it!!
  20. Niicee....SEGA going all in with Yakuza! We had Ishin at the beginning of the Year, Gaiden in 2 months and Yakuza 8 2 months after that! It's really amazing!!
  21. You will have to actually play the game to find out. This is a big game and a proper JRPG. You spend a lot of time with the characters- even the side quest characters. Emotional Payoff comes for all characters as their stories concludes - and in a 40+ hour game - it takes time to reach the end of their story. It's not something you'll find in a YouTube Walk-through
  22. Frankly I disagree. There are some areas where 7R does better and some where 16 does better. 7R was set in exactly 1 city, with almost linear map. 16 had an entire World to explore - like a good FF ought to have, with proper Chocobo riding as well. (Note: I mean 7R, not the Original FF7). The story of FF7R was also much more convoluted and confusing if you didn't know the story of FF7 itself first. The Boss Battles of 16 were way, way better than anything any recent FF - including 7R could give. The Lore, World Building and side quest quality (2nd half side quests only) blow FF7R out of the water completely. Main story is far more darker and emotional than 7R. Won't say anything about music because it's subjective or graphics because FF16 is a PS5 only game while 7R is a PS4 game at heart By 7R I mean Remake only - not Rebirth That said there are some areas where 7R blows 16 out of the water. The combat is really fun and with a full party with comppetely varied gameplay styles unlike FF16. Materia Management is great. There are actual mini-games that are fun. Overall, it's a mixed bag. But frankly, if I were given the choice of another 7 Remake or 16 - I would choose 16. That's because 16 did something new and finally went over-the-top that FF Games were known for. The mind-blown, jaw on the floor feeling that was there with OG FFs in the early eras - that I got with FF16 - but not with FF7R, 13 or 15
  23. It's not right to attack @SaiKO based on what Rockstar is doing. Rockstar is his place of employment, and I don't think he's in charge of any decisions over there (Good or bad). He's not personally responsible for any decisions regarding GTA 5, RDR Remaster or anything else. But by attacking him based on this - the community is putting him in a hard spot with a risk of getting him fired from his job Just my opinion on the matter

    STARFIELD

For those using the GP Version on PC - how do you apply mods - especially the one which removes the green filter on the screen and makes it look more natural colors? Game is beautiful with the natural colors - don't know why they had to put that green filter in there!
  25. The side quests that start from the 2nd half are epic. They don't do fetch quests anymore - and they have far reaching consequences, changing the fates of not only characters but entire towns, cities and the World. They delve into the lore - and are so good that multiple DLC and sequel ideas can come from them. But yeah - the first half are boring. And it's understandable - because the true story itself doesn't start until the 2nd half. BTW @Heaven Angel did you complete this game yet?
