You need to be PS+ member to download it and then you can play it. I'm not sure though. How does Beta of any other game, available through PS+, work? Do they require you to be PS+ member in order to play online? I am sure about demos/games so i think same applies for BETA.. cos it states ANYTHING bought for free will expire along with your PSN+ which exclude themes, wallpapers, Avatars.... Neither SONY nor Naughty Dog have mentioned that the PSN+ members from welcome back program will get the beta.. so its not official... Plus If they give these to all then it will really discourage the PSN+ members... SO i really doubt that sony will give it to all of us..
