And it's getting exponentially much, much harder over time. Technology is much more sophisticated, thus more complicated and thus require more time. Remakes are a way to sustain and bring more revenue to float the boat or maybe help the future projects that these companies have in mind/pipeline. MP1 and MP2 remake news is absolutely crazy and I hope Remedy can again bring back the magic with their friggin awesome Northlight engine.
