7 million copies sold, fastest in franchise history

This wasn’t the first COD on GamPass day1. Last one which was critically possibly the best in quite a while,also couldn’t help boost M$ Gaming revenue overall & in fact left a huge dent in ABK books!! No hardware boost,no stable revenue increase in subscription or subscriber numbers. Bobby Kotick said the same thing before & after the merger. That using COD to boost GamePass was an abysmal idea!!

Overall it's got awesome reviews with the exception of ign lol.

Frankly, I feel this means the latest CoD flopped, it did not raise GamePass sales and isn't worth it - and from what I'm seeing even the retail sales and reviews were abysmal. So it feels like MS spent the US$ 75 Billion for nothing. They'll have to be satisfied with money generated from whales in Warzone and from WoW Subs. Chances are - new CoD budget might get slashed and new games in the series left to die if this doesn't improve soon (If MS doesn't sell off either CoD or Activision altogether to recoup the costs - though it'll be at a loss at this point). They goit some internet bownie points during acquisition - and nothing else I think. For people saying Gamepass was worth it for Forza/Gears/Halo - MS still had those before Activision purchase. This just further drives a nail in their gaming ambitions. Just my opinion though.
