Movie Discussion Thread Vol. 2
Why not ban Pakistani movie like Waar which shows India as terrorist country? If they want to be neutral then stay neutral. Allowing garbage anti india movies but banning indian movies which actually shows truth about pakistan, shows double standards of these muslim countries. Umma unity nothing else. lol Anyway, Movie is close to crossing 300 crore mark in India alone and its doing quite good in Europe, NA and other parts of Asia. https://www.google.com/amp/s/timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/box-office/ranveer-singhs-dhurandhar-beats-prabhass-baahubali-2-the-conclusion-as-the-highest-2nd-friday-collection-of-indian-cinema-in-north-america/amp_articleshow/125944491.cms -

GCC countries usually avoid controversy This SRK movie Ra.One, they had this scene where SRK goes through airport check by putting a lot of piercings, do scanner guy think it's piercing but not his metallic robot body. That scene was cut. -

That could be one of the reason, but i read some article where it was mentioned that Pakistani movies like Waar and Sherdil, which are anti India movies showing RAW as terrorist organisation, both movies were not banned in middle east. So it looks like only anti Pakistan movies coming from India getting targeted. There's huge list of Bollywood movies where Pakistan based terrorism is shown, those movies get banned in Middle East but Pakistan based anti India movies are not banned there. Kashmir Files, Uri, fighter and all got banned in UAE -

True. But there are Islamic flags on display & some Circumcision related minuscule joke by Sanjay Dutt that some ppl are making fuss about. So that adds up as well. But yeah it’s mostly what you said.
