Tyler
u can't run away from soldiers in these games....u have to either pay them to get rid of the bounty or serve time .... if u fight them, they seem to have some kind of wireless communication where everywhere u go, soldiers will attack you. Better pay off (some 50 gold I think). The "wireless communication" is fixed in Skyrim. Your bounty is only applicable within the hold where you committed a crime. If you move to another the guards there will not confront you. Also, if you become a Thane of the hold guards will ignore petty crimes like breaking and entering. devil_angel
Guys, My PC specs: AMD X2 7750, 4GB DDR2 Ram, and 9600GT 512 700Mhz (Oc'd). Will the 360 version run and look better than what can be achieved by my PC?
Aftrunner
On Par I think. Having said that, I would still go with the PC version even if the difference was in 360s favor.
MoonStruckHorrors
that staff which turns anything into hen etc are amazing weapons Wabbajack, wabbajack, wabbajack, wabbajack. It doesn't turn people into just hens. I've experienced people turning into Dremora Curl, going invisible, etc. It's super fun if you have plenty of filled soul gems. Keano
Why would you go to jail? They take all your stuff and weapons. it gave me two options. something like run away or get jailed. I ran for my life and they caught me. I need to stop pressing L3 for faster sprinting also .. Will the player be able to summon or get a horse quickly ? the map is too big for me to travel on foot. Also found some three stones and selected the warrior stone(learn combat skills 20% faster) Edited January 9, 2012 by Keano

Tyler
Well I'm role playing as a good guy. Role playing doesn't mean getting your hands on all the good stuff no matter what which in this case means killing innocents and backstabbing people. Unless you're role playing a douchebag. also .. Will the player be able to summon or get a horse quickly ? the map is too big for me to travel on foot. Also found some three stones and selected the warrior stone(learn combat skills 20% faster) You need a 1000 gold to buy your first horse. It will fast travel with you and will always be found at stables outside towns (unless it gets killed). No RDR/AC style 'whistle and summon horse' though, you need to either fast travel or visit a stable. But actually I wouldn't recommend buying a horse... you can sprint and cover distances quite fast. Companions follow on foot (if you decide to use them) and it's a pain getting attacked while you're on a horse, which happens very frequently. You cannot attack from horseback and have to deal with a boring animation to dismount every single time. These are the reasons why I gave up using a horse and have traveled mostly on foot. hellraiserpop
Played the game a bit when it launched and left it there. Figured I'd get back in a couple of months when the mod community matures. As expected Nexus doesn't disappoint. Spent a couple of days getting tons of mods together. Really loving how it looks now. edit: couple more for today Edited January 9, 2012 by hellraiserpop

godspeed4476
OK guys, gonna gonna order the game from anip tomorrow. I had played oblivion 4 as warrior class, infact i have played most of the RPG's as warrior, never played as mage, archer, theif etc. Which class do you guys suggest for my play through? playing again as a warrior might get monotonous
Ne0
OK guys, gonna gonna order the game from anip tomorrow. I had played oblivion 4 as warrior class, infact i have played most of the RPG's as warrior, never played as mage, archer, theif etc. Which class do you guys suggest for my play through? playing again as a warrior might get monotonous I use the combo of combat + magic -> One handed + heavy armor + restoration + destruction. Easy to tackle almost all kind of foes. Also, there's no concept of choosing a particular class in skyrim. Whatever skills you use, it just improves. For ex, even with my above combo, when I sneak in on enemies, my stealth skill increases, or when I trade more, my speech skill increase. Its only choosing the perks that matters on how your character turns out. So I choose the perks mostly in the above categories.
