ghb
The reviews haven't been too kind to Morrison's recent Batman work, which is why I've stayed away from them :\ So worth a read then? morrison's picked up the most ridiculous batman stories over the years and tried to make something convincingly presentable out of it all depends on you really...it might swing either way personally i liked the direction the whole RIP series took but hated just about everything else
Bulovski
Essential Reading for a Batman fan - Grant Morrison's run starting with Batman 655 and currently ongoing in Batman & Robin Collected as: Batman & Son Batman: The Black Glove Batman: RIP Crazy, over the top with brilliant dialogues..this pushes the mythos to new levels The only one worth reading is Batman: RIP. It's actually brilliant, and is a nice segue into Batman's death in the Crisis storyline following.
Snake
The only one worth reading is Batman: RIP. It's actually brilliant, and is a nice segue into Batman's death in the Crisis storyline following. And for his Re-birth!!
My weight is 102 kgs
Arkham Inmate like your joker quote....it's from RIP or maybe The Killing Joke ...right ??
Arkham Inmate
The only one worth reading is Batman: RIP. It's actually brilliant, and is a nice segue into Batman's death in the Crisis storyline following. RIP is set up from the beginning of Batman & Son....zurrh-en-arrh first appears as wall grafitti in batman 655...Morrison is at his best when building a storyline over several arcs..check out his work on New X-men where he gradually seeded the plot threads over several issues his arc on batman is still continuing with the Batman & Robin which will provide more revelations in 2010...also, to fully understand RIP do read Final Crisis which is also written by Morrison
Arkham Inmate
Arkham Inmate like your joker quote....it's from RIP or maybe The Killing Joke ...right ?? yup..its from the killing joke...one of the best portrayals of the joker ever...though Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth, RIP & Joker (the graphic novel) are pretty unique as well
Tyler
Check out Marvel's new character HITMAN MONKEY! “Hitman Monkey is a soulful, tortured, jazz-loving 30-pound engine of destruction,” explains Executive Editor Axel Alonso. “Think Chow Yun Fat from ‘The Killer’ as a monkey. To be specific, [a Japanese Macaque] monkey.” [...] “Let’s be clear: HITMAN MONKEY is the harrowing tale of a Macaque monkey from the mountains of Japan who, though fate and circumstance, is transformed into the world’s deadliest assassin,” Alonso continues. “I fail to see what could be funny about-oh. I see your point.” - marvel Link

Madmage
Finally gave into the temptation and bought myself "paper" copies of Sandman 1,2 and 3.. Now i have to buy the remaining 8. Also bought Batman - Haloween.. They also had absolute Ronin and Absolute Kingdom come in stock.. I was totally salivating. Was in pune for around a couple of hours and the graphic novel section at landmark is totally awesome !!! I saw a guy there with a couple of blu rays, one of em was terminator salvation and was checking out a few graphic novels. Thought it was tyler as he keeps mentioning the Pune Landmark? Was it you dude, 23rd night.
