Dbz_479
CRYSIS 3 Developer: Crytek Frankfurt Publisher: Electronic Arts Engine CryEngine 3 Platform: Microsoft Windows PlayStation 3 Xbox 360 Release date:Spring 2013 Genre: First-person shooter Mode: Single-player,Multiplayer “Crysis 3 is a thrilling mix of sandbox gameplay, advanced combat and hi-tech human and alien weaponry that shooter fans will love,” said Cevat Yerli, Chief Executive Officer of Crytek. “Leveraging the latest CryENGINE technology, we’re able to deliver seven unique themes that offer stunning and visually loaded gameplay experiences. We cannot wait until people get their hands on the game.” Set in 2047, Prophet is on a revenge mission after uncovering the truth behind Cell Corporation’s motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. The citizens were told that the giant citywide structures were resurrected to protect the population and to cleanse these metropolises of the remnants of Ceph forces. In reality, the Nanodomes are CELL’s covert attempt at a land and technology grab in their quest for global domination. With Alien Ceph lurking around every corner and human enemies on the attack, nobody is safe in the path of vengeance. Everyone is a target in Prophet’s quest for retribution. ADAPTIVE WARFARE As one of the most experienced and elite soldiers to have never “officially” existed you know what it takes to survive. It’s just you, the most advanced piece of military hardware humanity has ever devised, and your training against an entire city of enemies and hostile terrain. And only one rule: You adapt or you die. New York has become an untamed landscape. The tactics that you may have used to move from building to building won’t help you when half of uptown has been replaced by a swamp. You’ll have to assess your situation, adapt your strategies and equipment to suit, and attack using every advantage you’ve got. A wall of incoming enemy fire, an immovable two-ton obstacle in your path, a quarter mile of exposed terrain you need to cover in 15 seconds, or an entrenched enemy position to be infiltrated; Your suit will give you the tools you need to survive these situations, but only your experience will help you know which to choose. Between your training and your nanosuit you’ve got better-than-average odds of surviving, but that’s not saying much when the average odds are zero to none. At the end of the day your suit is just a tool – Using it correctly means the difference between being the predator or the prey. BECOME THE HUNTER There was a time that you had compatriots. You had team mates who you trusted with your life. It wasn’t so long ago that you were fighting for your country and the human race. Now you fight for the fallen. Now you get your revenge. In the wake of the alien invasion, New York lies covered by a giant nanodome, hidden from the rest of the world A secretive military faction has set up shop in the ruins of the city. What do they want? Who are they? What have they found? Uncover their true motives and bring them down from the inside out. But as bad as they might be, they might be the least of your worries. The extraterrestrial threat still looms large over New York. The last time humanity tangled with this enemy they caught us with our guard down, but this time we’re ready. Stalk the canyons of the abandoned, ruined city in relentless pursuit of your prey. This time we hunt them SEVEN WONDERS New York City lies in ruin. Skyscrapers once thought to be timeless monuments crumble and give way to vines. Clamoring streets that filled with rush-hour traffic now host the banks of a river. An underground system designed to support millions has rotted into caverns as deep and dark as anywhere on Earth. A nanodome looms overhead, keeping the eye of the outside world out and an untold danger in. This is where you strike. Nature has reclaimed what was once the world’s most iconic city and you’ll have to adapt if you want to survive. Stalk your prey through a shadowy 5th avenue rainforest or wade waist-high through an urban swamp. Cover ground quickly over the midtown grasslands or seek cover in a deep, etched Wall Street canyon. You’ll need to plan for any situation in the wreckage of the city. With the dome overhead and alien technology on the loose there’s no telling what challenges you’ll face. So, you better be ready to use every situation and environment to your advantage, because you won’t get a second chance. It’s a jungle out there. ADVANCED WEAPONRY It would take you 4.24 traveling at the speed of light to reach Proxima Centarui, the closest star to Earth. With light traveling 186,000 miles per second, that’s an awful long way to go. What kind of science could push an alien with a bend for galactic domination faster than the speed of light? Imagine the technology, the power… the weapons. If you’re going to go toe to toe with an alien menace you’ll need some serious hardware. While a hurricane minigun might make you the biggest badass on Earth, an alien armada isn’t going to think twice about ripping you apart atom from atom. If you’re going to last long in the field you’re going to need to procure some competitive armament from your enemies. Of course, that’s assuming that you can find something that comes with an instruction manual not in an alien tongue. Lucky for you, your nanosuit will help you do some of the heavy lifting. It might not be a perfect interface, but you should be able to squeeze off enough alien firepower to level the playing field. You’ll have access to more weapons than you’ve ever had and it’s a good thing, too; You’ll need them. Dbz_479
EA probably wasn't too keen on you learning about a new Crysis just yet – the news comes from its Origin service where box art and cursory details popped up overnight for "Crysis 3" (as seen above). The box art and listings have since been removed, but as we all know Google sees all. Moreover, as Neogaf points out, GameReactor magazine is teasing a reveal for Crysis 3 in the coming week. Unfortunately for both EA and the European magazine, some of that thunder got stolen by a faulty switch over at Origin. Box art for Xbox 360 and PC versions popped up, but we imagine it'll also arrive on PlayStation 3. We've reached out to EA for clarification, but we don't expect to hear more until next week's planned reveal. (And yes, that dude on the Crysis 3 cover is rocking what looks like a compound bow.) http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/11/try-and-look-surprised-crysis-3-acci-revealed-by-eas-origin-se/ http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2012/4/11/2940735/crysis-

Dbz_479
Crysis 3 will play supposedly destroyed in a New York City. Or so claims a Russian website (via CVG ), which also includes another of the image along with the already known yesterday emerged cover sheet shows. The ruined city is thereby have become "almost a jungle," which basically would be a mix of the settings of Part 1 and Part 2 According to the page Crysis 3 will come in spring 2013 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the market. Yesterday was first images and pack shots of Crysis 3 appeared, as already found themselves via Google links for Crysis 3 in the Origin-Store. In any case, too much concrete evidence to deny the whole thing. With the formal announcement of the third part is on Monday, 16 April expected. http://www.eurogamer.de/articles/2012-04-12-crysis-3-spielt-angeblich-in-zerstoertem-new-york Above - a screenshot of the new Crysis trailer 3. http://www.madfanboy.com/site/pervye-podrobnosti-crysis-3 Cryengine 3 2012 preview
