  1. 1) OK I will concede on this point. Yes, I have an Xbox and no, I have had no reason to refund any game on it 2) Easy with the Personal Attacks my man. I could just as easily say people like you are the reason we have to deal with paid online can't I? Also, you are still ignoring Nintendo. Free Cloud is only on MS and PC. Free Manual Save Backup is still there. It's also there permanently unless both your system dies and all your backups die as well. 3) See Point above 4) So games only consist of 1st party from now on? That's new to me. I thought people played all games. Why are you hung up on only 1st party? I'm saying gaming as a whole. As a whole, it's moving to $70. Am I supporting it? Absolutely not. But then again, it is quite easy to wait 1-2 months (or heck even weeks) and buy at 50% off no? TLOU2 came down to almost 2k within a month. Not exactly a problem if you are not having to buy each game Day 1. Again, I'm not blaming GP. It's amazing and I accept it. But this does not mean all 3rd party games are there on GP. And the trend is $70 for the industry as a whole, unfortunately. 5) Additional Point, as far as exclusives go, Sony is still far and above MS. The amount of games last year alone beats entire X1 line-up the entire gen. And this year is looking to be great as well. MS is still in the "Promise" stage. For the forseeable future - MS "1st Party" is abysmal. There are at least 3 years before we see any great major exclusives on MS side, and new acquisitions like Bethesda - maybe even more. If it's worth it then, I will get XSX as well. Till, then, I will make do with my X1X and PC for any MS needs, if required. 6) There really is no need to celebrate just because MS made F2P free yesterday (Calling it Listening to Community after being woken up after 16 years). It really has no bearing on others.
  2. Then my point is withdrawn. Thanks for the info. Didn't know this.
  3. Oh yeah forgot to add as well - 5) Sony is the only company giving you free PSN name changes. On Xbox you are stuck with your name of X12653496 unless you cough up 700 Rs each time for the privilege. Yup, the Standard Argument. GP is an amazing service. But to act like it has 100% of the entire game library in the industry is ridiculous. Telling that only Sony has any new Next Gen only game at the moment as well.
  4. More like - 1) Consoles have a bad refund system. Only systems worth a damn are PC Stores like Steam, Epic and GoG 2)Cloud Saves are a luxury. Unlike F2P Games, Cloud Saves are not a guarantee. Sony and Nintendo have paid cloud saves. Rest don't. Aso F2P games became free like yesterday after 16 years, whereas it's free on all other platforms since forever. No points to MS for this at all. 3) Paid MP - We will not ignore this. MS started this, and forced both Sony and Nintendo to go along or face Shareholder's wrath and MS is still it's champion. Best is all PC stores (Steam/GoG/Epic/Uplay/EA - all of which have free MP) 4) Even MS is charging 70$. Come back to me when all Next Gen only 3rd parties on Xbox - which are not on GP - are also at $60 and only Sony charges $70
  5. Not changing the subject. But OK - will play by your rules. The next time Sony doubles the price of PS+ and retracts it after 1 day of Twitter outrage is when you will see Cloud Saves free. Or maybe after 16 years of paid Cloud Storage. Happy? Even without PS+, you do have the option of taking back ups on a pen drive you do know that right?
  6. Not a PS Only gamer, but what you said is ridiculous. You call that "Listening to Consumers"? MS doubling the price, one of the heads (Maybe Nadella himself) sees the twitter reactions blow up and then immediately instructs his underlings to retract it and write an "Apology Tweet". Or making F2P games free - which they are supposed to be right from the start - after what 8 years or so (16 years if you add in Xbox 360 years), as part of an "apology" for either trying to sneak in a price rise or earning "goodwill points" by making a ridiculous increase and then retracting it. Easy to get customers to accept if you increase price to an unreasonable standard first and then retract it or earn goodwill by again increasing to unacceptable levels and then removing it and claiming "We listened to fans". Easy Marketing 101. Man your standards of customer satisfaction are very low if that's all it takes for you to be satisfied. Nah, I use Xbox and all, but I definitely wouldn't call the company that pioneered paid online, introduced the strategy of "buying out 3rd Party Exclusives" and claiming all timed exclusives to be full exclusives (False Marketing) to be customer friendly any time soon.
  7. This is to essentially kill off the 3 year Gamepass Ultimate Trick for $1 I guess. Most probably Live Gold will soon be phased off completely (All online services to be given by GP and Live Gold's free games stopped). If your 3 year GPU is ending or you will have to buy GP at proper price and new customers will only get 3 months GPU for Rs 50/$1 as originally intended.
  8. Why did you get rid of your PS4 before you finished Persona 5?
  9. There was an excellent chance unfortunately. The anime situation was improving so well in India. Dragon Ball Super released in India and played to full house in theaters. Happy with this, broadcasters like Vkaao brought in movies like Weathering With You, and that played to full house as well. It was going so great that Anime Movies were playing all over India (including nearby theaters) and not just some fancy cinema Sunshine City festival halls in South Mumbai. Plus, what was really mind blowing was that we got Weathering With You in theaters far before the US. It was so amazing to see the net and everyone in the West was waiting to see the movie that I had just come from watching at the theaters. Now Covid has f***ed up so badly that it will take at least till 2021 mid/end for normal crowd to go back to see Hindi and top billed English movies and we might not see anymore Animes or heck even great Foreign Films like Parasite or Train to Busan for at least 2-3 more years. Covid really brought our theater industry from the modern Golden Age back to the Stone Age we were in till 5 or so years ago @jak3072 I'm talking about Western Release. Fan Subs these days are not that active. Most just prefer to rip off legal subs. So Western Blu Ray will come most probably end 2021. If you really want to know the story ahead and not wait, be like us and read the manga.
  10. I don't think it's even released in the West. the sh*tty quality should come in 1-2 months. Good quality by 2021 end/2022 beginning most likely.

    Persona 5

You'll know why as you play ahead. Can't spoil it as it is major spoilers related to completing 8th Palace (Last of base game). But this is safe for you to know now (Spoiler tagging it for others' benefit)

    Cyberpunk 2077

Witcher 1 was not that well received though. It was considered a good game, but it did not exactly become the talk of the industry. Witcher 2 was a little better and was mainly well received after CDPR made the enhanced version and gave it away for free to all Witcher 2 owners. The story was great, but CDPR's act of giving away the tons of extras was more talked about than the game itself. CDPR became a household name only after WItcher 3. Before that - they were a niche developer who did not have much pressure or fan expectation on their shoulder. CDPR did not promise anything with Witcher 1 or Witcher 2. Just released the game - that's it. They promised a ton of stuff with Cyberpunk after Witcher 3, fan expectation were high, and then on a console that ran RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima - they delivered a game that looked like an upgraded GTA San Andreas. That's where the problems come from. On PC you're all good, if you have a good HW. If you're running a low to mid end PC - you're right up there with Console owners. And even on PC - the city is nothing special. The writing is good, that's it. Otherwise it's an empty shell of a city and a grave of broken promises.
  13. AFAIK, the laws are already in place to have censorship over digital streaming platforms. The Govt. is just not implementing it yet. It's just that gore, nudity and s*x proved far too popular, as was shown by the status of the p**n ban and how it had to be repealed + the popularity of shows like Sacred Games. But games that target religion or even shows - you can bet the govt. will flip the implementation button faster than you can think. That's core vote-bank territory and not something to let go of. Heck the govt., banned PUBG mobile here, which has a sizable population playing it. You think they will even look twice at banning stuff like games which require 50k consoles/50k GPU PCs/"Experimental" Cloud Services/"Experimental" VR Devices to play? They can shut down the industry in India and not many people will even care. That's the state we're in.
  14. If you are telling angles - tell the correct angles man. I've heard of acute angle, obtuse angle, right angle and the likes. If you're talking about shapes - the Series X is a cuboid, which is 6 rectangles. I've never heard of exclusive angles or 2022 angles till now. Brand new discoveries? In all seriousness though, having actually used a One X (not a Series X I know, but still) - Xbox is actually a good console and it's controllers are pretty great. I'm sure Series X is an upgrade over a One X so it will be better. And Gamepass is good value, so people will actually take that into consideration while buying. People know about the status of exclusives, so no need to keep on telling people "How Bad Their Purchase Is" man. Let people buy whatever they are interested in and let everyone enjoy their purchase.
  15. 2 headed cow and brahmin - no one cares. Straight up Ramayana and Mahabharat - Oh Man! You're looking at a blood-bath. If people bothered more about "Important Stuff" India would be on the list of highly developed countries by now. There are organizations who thrive on generating controversy and Religion is "No.1". Want to see mass protests, mass bans, video games becoming political and subject to future censorship and bans - easiest way to get it done right now is play with some existing religions in India. The backlash will probably make the US Capitol protests look like a reasonable debate.
  16. This one is actually better than the previous 2. Nothing legendary, but it does put in some new concepts and manages to be fun somewhat. Do you guys remember the Anime Ramayana, that aired in the 90s. There was absolutely nothing controversial about that, and yet there were protests by various groups, simply because "Animation/Anime is for kids and Ramayana cannot be depicted like that." This was in the 80s/90s, when it was very controversial to have animated religious shows. Now there are animations of course. Now imagine Video Games to be the next on the list. The sh*tstorm it will generate will be legendary. The Ramayana Anime creators actually studied the material and tried to be as controversy free as possible. So gradually, it got accepted. Ubisoft will do no such thing. Their "depictions" are not always respectful. Better they stay as far away from Ramayana/Mahabharata as possible.
  17. True, forgot about those. Sry about that. All of them are on Switch though. I was talking about true exclusives. AFAIK Sony's Sackboy is still the only other exclusive. For a one stop solution to all 2d platformers, Nintendo is still king.
  18. Nintendo is and will always be king in this segment. You should not go beyond the Nintendo Switch. Sony might try some basic 2d platformers, like Sackboy or something, if they have nothing else to do and have some bored interns who want to develop something as a pet project, but it will be nothing extraordinary. MS will not even bother. BTW did you play Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on Switch yet? It's right up your alley.
  19. It actually depends. NNK2 starts with massive betrayals, running away and all such stuff. In other words "Rule of Cool" straight away. NNK1 though - it takes time to build the character, so you get attached to them even more. In the first hour, you literally do nothing except see Oliver's daily life. This is because it's necessary for his characterization and also for the World. Also, in a 30-40 hour game, 1 hour is not even enough for a trial lol. It's like any Studio Ghibli movie like My Neighbor Totoro or Princess Mononoke. A slow start that builds up into a crescendo. That start is necessary and makes things far more epic and emotional as you will find out if you actually play the game. Didn't say NNK2 was bad at all. Like I said, one is a great game (NNK2) but the other is a legend (NNK1). NNK2 alone would have been great, but coming from NNK1, comparisons always came to my mind between the two, which was why I rated it lower than I would.
  20. And now we find the problem right here. In other words - you didn't play it. For your info, NNK 2's music was a very stripped down version of NNK1's music. There is literally no way for it to be better. Graphics, you mean this - and this vs this Maybe if you like 2003's Bad CGI or this vs Do note the NNK1 images are most probably the PS3 ones - not even PS4. On a technical level, if you look at pixels and all, NNK2 is better. On an artistic level, when you actually see the game in motion - NNK1 is miles above. Combat and story - you've all but admitted you've never even given it a chance. It's hilarious, because they tried to bring so much of NNK1 back into 2. Lofty is literally a poor man's copy of Drippy. The music, again as I said was a downplayed version of NNK1. I really wanted to like NNK2. In fact, I liked it. But after playing NNK1, it felt like such a massive downgrade, it's not even funny.
  21. The fact that you are typing this alone proves that you've not played the 1st one. NNK1 was a classic. Graphics, animation, story, music - all of these are so superior in NNK1 that NNK2 wishes it could match. Studio Ghibli is Studio Ghibli. Nothing matches up to them yet. Gameplay is up to opinion because both have completely different gameplay. I was fine with both tbh. If you want to compare - NNK1 was like the original Lion King. A Legend. NNK2 is like Frozen, a great movie, but not a legend.
  22. A grown up version, but only a little bit. TBH Kageyama's and Kurahara's (The guy on the right) design is very common. Generic "Cool" Japanese guy. The more interesting clone was this - This guy looks like a Thin, starving, younger version of this Seriously, Fujioka can literally change his name at the registry and do body building - he will literally become a clone of Kazuma Kiryu in some years lol The second was this: Sakaki (From this anime) vs this a**h**le from FATE Series
  23. Well, what will be - will be. If it's exclusive, great. If it's not exclusive, also great. Just hope they make a good game and not mess it up. Though considering it's Machine Games and not OG Bethesda Softworks (Fallout 76 team), I have high hopes that it will be absolutely excellent.
