Most annoying enemy I’ve encountered so far are those giant hands in that Cara manor. They crush, they hit, grab and worst of all they send a terrible spell that immobilises the player. Not to mention that they just spring from ground so hard to know where they are hiding !

Elden ring on pc : stopped all other games as this of taking much of my attention. Looks like I’ll be playing thru this until end of the year !
-
Defeated rennala, took me only a couple of tries, not much of a challenge, what worked for me was to use the demi humans spirits and not allowing the boss to summon spirits !
-
Finally defeated that red wolf sub boss in the raya academy. It looked mighty aggressive at first, but it telegraphs its jump attacks and you can easily dodge to get behind it.

I never got that $1 hack, it always showed me full price, it was ₹350 before now it’s ₹450, I think that hack only works for console not pc. -

Lol, I subscribe to PC game pass at the monthly price, whatever Microsoft charges in India - ₹529 ( the way I see it, it’s still cheaper than my Netflix subscription), not sure how it makes a difference in this argument to you, but anyway that’s another fact check for you! Also, You’re not making the point you think you’re buddy. In your mind you think with all these emojis and videos and these twitter stuff you post, you think you’re making some brilliant/knowledgable arguments, but in reality the more you post in this topic, the more you’re coming off as the envious / sour grapes guy It won’t change our mind as a consumer, after all half the joy in owning something is when you see other’s envious of it Before I close this debate, I would like to say if you’re really that concerned about subscription based services harming gaming eco system, cancel your own subscription service first and start purchasing games. Whether you buy the game on day one or day 100 the amount still reaches the developer ! Else you will continue to sound as an empty vessel/sour grapes guy just making lot of noise Anyway, had some free time so indulged this friendly banter. No hard feelings intended. Peace out✌️ -

Haha true, from his post, it’s quite clear. His main issue is that , a rival service is is giving games on Day one while the platform he has paid for is not. If he really has so much issues with subscriptions undermining the gaming industry he wouldn’t have purchased one himself, day1/day10 doesn’t matter, it’s just a ruse for hiding envy, nothing else 😂 -

Dude I’m not sure if you’re really this ignorant or just plain lazy to even check facts. First fact check for you, I don’t know what do you mean by a AAA movie. The nomenclature is usually used for games, not movies. If you’re referring to budget, a simple google search/any random ai tool would show you all the original movies that released in Netflix/prime, just check what was the budget of these movies. All the below movies released day 1 on Netflix and all of them had top actors/directors etc with budgets, similar or even more than most Hollywood movies : The Electric State: $320 million ( 2025) The Gray Man: $200 million (2022) Red Notice: Approximately $200 million (2021) Your whole argument/premise that subscription services is going to kill the gaming industry is completely invalid/devoid of any facts. There may be some side effect during the transition phase but eventually most companies would get around to the new model. Monetisation strategies would change, but most companies will find a way to work around it. -

What are you talking about man ? All sub services release their original movies day 1 on their platform. Most of them are high quality blockbuster budget movies ! Many production houses in India have also started the trend, some are even launching their kin with direct to ott (ex the Archies), as they don’t want to risk theatres anymore! -

All industry insiders complain about subscription based services in their respective industries, even many Bollywood directors, producers, complain that OTT is taking away audience from theatres. Same thing happened with Spotify in its prime with many artists complaining or boycotting it, and the same thing is happening currently with game based subscription services. There is always a transition phase during which people will complain, but ultimately will adjust to the new ways. Most developers who are currently complaining about sub services will eventually find ways to make it work for them, I don’t think they’ll all close down. In any industry there’ll always be disruptions like this, ones who don’t adjust as usual left get left behind. -

All subscription based services work on the psychology that once you subscribe, the chances of you cancelling that subscription are very less even if you don’t use it. They rely on the fact that humans have FOMO when they want to cancel the subscription. Once you subscribe with the credit card and it keeps billing you monthly, most people would just forget about it and keep paying without thinking too much about it (unless the service is really bad or content goes completely stale after a big release like ubi+ or you’re in penny pinching mode). What you mentioned where people subscribing for just a couple of months might happen in few cases, but that’s more of an exception than a rule. -

Day 1 releases are for attracting new users/increasing user count. Actually on paper, it makes sense for companies who own the said platforms because subscription is recurring revenue and having more number of users means you have a steady stream of revenue flowing in every month, irrespective of games released in that month. -

That’s not universally true. I would have never played games like Clair:obscur or FF7: remake or Like a Dragon if not for gamepass/ps extra. I played ff7: remake on PS extra and then bought FF16 and FF:rebirth as I loved that game. It entirely depends on the game. Sometimes you try a whole new genre and it suddenly clicks with you. Subscription services like ps: extra/gamepass gives you this freedom to try and expand your horizon at a much lower cost. -
Playing thru chapter 4, the gfx, the cut scenes (nobody does cut scenes like japs), everything is some of the best I’ve seen in ps5 so far. How did this game miss GOTY ?
-
High time FF games needs to get rid of this chocobo stuff and move on to something better. I understand legacy ties and all, but in modern games with large areas they just don’t fit. Even in ff16 they felt so much out of place.

Whoever designed the open world map in this game one of the worst maps ever. You think you’re on the way when suddenly you see a mountain in your path and no proper directions to get around, lot of my time wasted on how to reach a certain point due to this. Sometimes it’s not clear whether it’s above below as well.

How is the combat in this game? I was reading Reddit review thread and most of the negative comments were around combat.
-
The enemy design looks really unique. The game looks very intriguing, I think I’ll wait for few months for the bug fixes and patches to kick in.
-
Was watching the game spot review seems like a decent game !

I felt it looked/played just like hitman games, if you swap out bond with agent 47 you won’t even know the difference!
