Chelsea certainly want him to put in a transfer request, so they can sign him. United's resolve will be tested now, let's see what they are made of... If they sell him to Chelsea, it would be a massive 'egg on their faces' moment for their fans.. Also would make Chelsea favorites for title next year. As much as I hate the bacon face, this wouldn't have happened under his regime. Mourinho wouldn't have bothered. Like when Heinze was refused a move to us at all costs when he explicitly stated a desire to move to Anfield. But now it'd be different. Now the players who wouldn't have dared to raise their voice against ferguson would not be afraid of a guy like Moyes. Especially in a case like Rooney when they have a history with him.
