E3 2021 - General Discussion and News

I think GamesPass as a service won e3

But I think Sony not deciding to do e3 has a lot to do with it

If they drop some bombs in July then it will turn out to be true

Tried the Strangers of paradise ff origins demo. Definitely souls inspired, gameplay itself is pretty good. BUT, the visuals are worse than Demons souls on ps3. Was literally shocked this could even be a ps4 game, let alone ps5. It needs extreme amounts of polish, which I don't think is happening before release.

Even gamepass is bored of Spencer harping on it. Even last year's show was only about gamepass.

As if renting something is better than actually owning it. This is how big corporations control their bo.. I mean fans.

So now that E3 is over, who do you think "Won"? For me it was Nintendo BOTW 2 with a 2022 release date and SMT 5 with a Nov 2021 release date beat out everything else completely.

Absolutely. Nintendo carried this year's E3.

It’s good to see most of the games announced for 2022 or beyond are Next Gen only

I think Sony made a mistake of making GOW2 & GT7 Crossgen titles

Even fh5 is crossgen. That's the only "exclusive" we got a deep dive of.

It’s 2021 title

even Halo & Psychomauts are Crossgen in that regard

I’m talking about 2022

Games like Starfield & Avatar are big titles going next gen only

but then again they can be pushed to 2023 for all we know

Starfield is a new ip. Even new ip of sony would be next gen only.

Only 12-13 are new IP. Rest are existing ones

All of them. :naughty:

nice 👌

I was worried there for a while that you just waste people’s time by posting bhikari speculative quality bait comments without actually owning the platforms

This is how you save E3 10120210617_193422.jpg

So hard to get interested about these games. Maybe Botw 2 (which is suspiciously missing here) and Metroid, I guess. More than half are just old games or multiplatform.

Meh.
