Took bsnl plan of 2k per month of 8mbps speed got just 1 mbps after tons of complaint it was still the same ended up paying 2 months rent and closing down the connection.. So this time wont take any risk up front.. Will play safe..

meaNmachine
@PS, Check if Reliance is available in your area. There is no FUP and it is very cheap. Rs 1000 per month for 4 Mbps. Also check Airtel plans. Little expensive but constant speed and good service.
mshingore
Yep uploads and downloads both count as 'usage' And Internet connections are based on USAGE and not just downloads
Heaven Angel
Not sure about other providers, but Airtel doesn't count upload data..(at least not for me..I seed all my stuff half : 1 or 1:1 ratio + Stream games) Airtel gives crappy upload speed..512 kbps :\ Edited April 20, 2013 by Heaven Angel
piper
True, Airtel does not count upload in FUP. But upload is a measly 1Mbps compared with the 8Mbps download speed.
