But I loved Ghost of Tsushima. Exploring Tsushima was never boring. Feeling is totally off here :/
Gameplay is pretty meh. I liked the stealth, even cleared some Temples with lot of enemies. But to my surprise, they re-spawned again. I thought it was like those enemy fortress which if you cleared, it is yours. Then another temple/castle was almost exactly same in setting. Combat is pretty weak and in the start at least, you can't assassinate big enemies but are required to kill them, which means you can't do away without fighting enemies and Naoe is weak.
You wanna go do the main area, you have do lot chore, meet someone somewhere who is far off the map, which would not be a problem if exploration and navigation is done right. Here you just get lost into a jungle with trees where your horse can't go further but Naoe can. Perhaps there is a main road path but seems to point away from map.
I am also not eager to see what is ahead and how character will progress gameplay wise since it doesn't seem like it will change much.
I have seen exact same rants across the internet at the time of GT7,GoW,SM2 & now GoY.
That they look exactly the same & don’t seem to look Next Gen.
All ended up being multiple GOTY award nominees & proved to be must play titles on PS5.
Whether one buys it day one,on a deep sale or waits for subscription to drop is a subjective & personal matter.
But these direct sequels specially the ones who were too good to be true running on PS4 ought to look like a direct follow up.
Never saw anyone say that Doom TDA looks exactly same as it predecessor btw!!
Coz it’s the scale that matters in some games.
Also le-same:-
😂
i think Japan as a setting for an AC game seems off. I’m playing AC odyssey right now and part of the charm is the exploration of all these Greek architecture/buildings and stuff. Sometimes I just keep wondering across the seas/exploring islands like Mykonos as they are gorgeous to look at. But in Japan, I highly doubt this would work as the era in which the game is set was just wooden cottages (at least I’ve never heard of any great Japanese architecture in the old times), so I guess it’s just forests/mountains and towns which would all look pretty generic !
