Same goes for the Burnout series.

Noctis
Definitely don't want another one of these. Most of the races in burnout paradise were ruined thanks to it.

Tyler
and those two were shitty games as well Yeah because they tried to be like Forza instead of the old Need For Speed. And by old I mean Hot Pursuit and NFS3-era.
Tyler
Split/Second and Blur? Also, PGR4, Dirt 1/2, Grid... And part of the reason I am enjoying S/S and Blur is the fact that they aren't open world.

HundredProofSam
What's with publishers being so afraid to add a number at the end of a sequel. Mortal Kombat, Medal of Honor, NFS: Hot Pursuit. We've already played all these games. How about distinguishing them from the original by giving it a different name? Why not call this Hot Pursuit 3? And ya, open world is a disappointment. :| peace
Tyler
I guess they are just assuming that today's gamers don't know about these titles and adding a number might alienate them. Stupid trend...

silentassassin
NFS being open world is oh k... But the tracks should be closed...i.e u shud'nt look into the map n drive...Burnout paradise was total sh*t whn compared to other burnout versions.. if its like BP whr u hv to look @ da map n drive in the race then this game will b fail.... I don't even remember looking at the map during my second career.
