game is available for pre-order on steam now. releasing in december. this time the price is set to 15$ instead of 30$ like the first one. and pre-ordering now gets you instant access to the multiplayer beta which is a short section of the game playable in both sp and mp. just completed playing that section now and it is completely amazing. drop dead gorgeous game.

you can check out some screenshots i took here - http://steamcommunit...lter=app_202110

^^If you are not good at platforming then you shouldn't bother much. Last level is very hard for veterans and almost impossible for platforming n00bs like you.

Yeah so I've heard. But I picked it up because it was going really cheap on Steam once.

Its seriously not that hard. I dont know why you guys keep saying that.

The platforming is moderately difficult at its harshest. Its the combat that can be a little brutal (drop the difficulty down to fix that). But even all put together its still a fairly smooth ride.

$2? Hello Mac gaming :D

Edit oops it's the first Trine

@Spin the screens look amazing. Kind of over saturated though.

finished the game today. full campaign coop on hard, it lasted over 12 hours. the game is virtually flawless in every regard and one of the most beautiful games i've ever played.

seriously guys, get this game. it's completely worth the 15$ asking price on steam, or wait for a sale or jump on it when it releases on your platform of choice but do not miss out on it. and play in co-op with voice com if you can, i can guarantee that exponentially increases the entertainment you will get from it.

took a ton of screenshots which you can see here - http://steamcommunit...ilter=app_35720

Got to play Trine first to do that. I've just given up on my backlog. :/

Alright just finished it and honestly not too impressed with it. I always thought the sequel was going to go bigger than the original but Trine 2 never raised its game. All the cool creatures and bosses that they showed in the trailer are really easy to deal with. The puzzles did get challenging but for the most part were fairly easy to solve.
Graphics looks gorgeous and some of the underwater environments were totally breathtaking. The character animation seemed kinda rushed. The transitions between the animation loops were really really rough in some places.

I'd give it a solid 7 out of 10.
