COD from past 2 years has even beated avatar's record of 1 bilion $ and sales are increasing every year. Though, BF is also on its way to become a billion dollar franchise soon. Even people who pay money to buy the game dont bother with the SP. I guess you can use the SP as a benchmark tool of sorts. Thats all its good for. Shame, cause they had something halfway decent with Bad company 1. Then lost the plot in Bad Company 2. And BF3 SP was like a CoD rip off made by an amateur team. I just want battlefield 4 to have destruction of bad company 2(Holy sh*t! It awesome). As far as Call of Duty series go it is Insane Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity? Fans expect more of the same with a some minor freshening up each year. Why take the risk and try to fix something that isn't broken?
