If it was too easy to find batteries players would not care about them at all. If it was too difficult to find them players would end up without source of light rendering game very difficult to play. In the end, players got forced to look for batteries which felt like a tedious task because instead of focusing on whatever they wanted to do they had to scavenge for supplies.

This felt like a good idea but we discovered that every time the flashlight got depleted, players would just wait aimlessly for it to regenerate and then continue their activities.

^I have a feeling this game is going to be epic. Same like Mordor. Not much hype, less expectations, more fun.

I remember no one lurking around the Mordor thread until the game released and every one joined the bandwagon

Apart from Nemesis system..there wasn't anything new in it..Combat was inspired from Arkham series..Stealth from AC series..All i can say it was a sleeper hit and worth to play..

Dying Light- Types of Infected

1.Runners

Runners are human beings that have only begin to exhibit symptoms of the Harran virus after being infected. They are a faster variant of the Biter only in the sense that their body's motor functions haven't been compromised by the viral strain. They maintain some control of their motor functions and coordination when using their bodies, but are largely at the mercy of the virus's effects of on their bodies.

Runners are not significantly physically stronger than Biters, and are only unique in the fact that they will attempt to warn uninfected humans with warnings to the player like "Stay away!" as an indicator of their turning

2.Biters

Biters are the majority of the slow, shambling infected that react to and eat the living. They are visually distinguished from Infected by their partly or significantly eaten bodies. Biters are most dangerous in groups where their speed is less of a disadvantage. Biters are also fairly quiet at a distance and can be difficult to spot in darker areas.

Their speed ranges from a fast paced speed walk to a slow shamble with a step every few seconds. The Biters are easy to deal with but facing a horde is virtually impossible to survive if the player decides to take them head on. Some Biters will wear special equipment, like hazmat suits. They stick out of the crowd, outfitted with gas tanks on their backs, which explode if the tank is damaged by the player.

3.The Volatile

The Volatile is the mutated form of the Biter that only emerges during the night. If the player is successful, they can kill a Biter before it can complete its full transformation. However, this is not the case with all Biters who become Volatiles, and the player’s best option is always to run when caught.

Volatile are broad-shouldered and slightly taller than the average Biter. Other physical markers include full-bodied nudity, exposed bone and muscle and a mandible jaw that are used against non-infected humans. Volatile are extremely fast, they can navigate through the dark at high speeds and can match the agility of the Runners, scaling obstacles and buildings in the same manner.

4.Screamers

Screamers are infected children whose screams disorient the players vision and renders them unable to fight. Presumably, Screams will not wander out of the houses they're discovered in to join the general populace of infected.

They remain inside their former houses in one spot either sitting quietly or eating a corpse. Speculation leads many to assume that screams heard inside the house may be a technique used by Screams to lure Runners or Survivors into a trap.

5.The Toad

The Toad is an uncommon infected noted for its ability to fire green acidic phlegm at the player that harms the player character. On top of damaging the player character, the Toad's attack can blind the player. Additionally, the acidic phlegm can harm other infected, such as Biters. If Biters are within range of the player when hit by the phlegm, they can deal additional damage to the player character with their attack in combination with the phlegm.

The Toad displays more agility then other special infected, able to leap across rooftops with ease. It is, however, one of the weakest special infected, able to be killed with a few hits from a melee weapon, which makes them relatively dangerous horde support and ranged enemies, but weak when alone and when encountered at melee distance.

6.The Demolisher

The Demolisher is one of the largest infected types encountered by the player. It's strength lies in its ability to break down walls, lift and toss vehicles across fair distances. When a Demolisher spots the player, it will charge them in attempt to damage the player character. However, the Demolisher is quite slow and can be easily avoided prior to its charge proper.

Physically the Demolisher is big but as unintelligent as the Biters. If the player is smart, he can lure the Demolisher's attacks to disperse nearby Biter groups. Also, if a group of infected are chasing the player, he can lure them into the Demolisher's car toss attack while the player dodges it.

Will the game be releasing in India on the same day as the global release or would it be delayed ? Cant find any info on it. Stores like Snapdeal and Game4u have it under pre-order with a release date of Mid-Feb.

Also, with the international release being on the 30th of January, by when would the full reviews be published ?
