Take-Two acquires Zynga at a valuation of $12.7bn

Almost 2x of what Microsoft paid for ZeniMax. Huge.

They have Farmville, access to Harry Potter mobile game, Game of Thrones Mobile game and more. I would think they are more valuable than Bethesda. Especially since people (Whales) will keep on dumping money in their games almost indefinitely, without the studio even needing to make much major content or put in major expenditure.

Mobile devs (especially huge ones like Zynga) are good for companies that way.

Farmville hasn't been the same since 1 and the 2nd game didn't click well. There is 3rd game released last year but no idea. HP games still belong to WB/Portkey and they use the different studios to make the games, no? The latest one was from Zen Studio for mobile.

T2 is definitely paying a big premium to jump into the mobile industry as it is growing at a crazy rate.

Pokemon BD/SP No. 4 without including Digital Sales? That's just crazy. If they added in Digital, I can see it going up all the way to No. 1. Mdness considering it's a remaster of a very old DS game, with nothing much new added at all. Would be crazy to see what happens when Pokemon Legends Arceus (The Actual new game) comes out this month end. Same for MK8, I can easily see it at No. 2 with Digital added in. Those 2 beating CoD (which is majority only digital) would be just crazy.
