PlayStation vs Xbox vs Nintendo thread
Games dropping few years later depending on popularity & potential to generate sales is just fine….never against it. Even new studios who otherwise are not confident & can generate some production money through Subscription deals are also fine. I am talking mostly about juggernaut franchises or mega budget projects by established studios dropping day1 on Subscriptions. That makes absolute 0 sense & is evidently not healthy as repeated by Industry veterans. The risk of loosing day1 money by potential buyers far outweighs the potential of establishing new userbase. -

Ghost of Yōtei
Ofcourse. Its a Sony FP game. The quality and polish will be top notch. No wonder they are confident. Death Stranding 2 had 6 hours of preview and reviewed great as well. Same for Yotei. Sony First Party- ghost of tushima

PlayStation vs Xbox vs Nintendo thread
That’s not universally true. I would have never played games like Clair:obscur or FF7: remake or Like a Dragon if not for gamepass/ps extra. I played ff7: remake on PS extra and then bought FF16 and FF:rebirth as I loved that game. It entirely depends on the game. Sometimes you try a whole new genre and it suddenly clicks with you. Subscription services like ps: extra/gamepass gives you this freedom to try and expand your horizon at a much lower cost.- 1
