I use the combo of combat + magic -> One handed + heavy armor + restoration + destruction. Easy to tackle almost all kind of foes. Also, there's no concept of choosing a particular class in skyrim. Whatever skills you use, it just improves. For ex, even with my above combo, when I sneak in on enemies, my stealth skill increases, or when I trade more, my speech skill increase. Its only choosing the perks that matters on how your character turns out. So I choose the perks mostly in the above categories.

I went for all out warrior and I can dominate any situation right now, maxed out Two-Handed, Archery, Heavy Armor, Smithing, Lock-Picking and Sneak using a bow is awesome also it can help level up both archery and sneak.

I am playing the game sames as Neo. I really dont think ignoring magic in skyrim can be fun. The variety of magic makes the gameplay very interesting. I have almost maxed out One handed (level 85 something), heavy armor past 80 and destruction past 60 I think. The one handed already does twice the damage and heavy armor offers 100% more protection. I am unstoppable in close quarters. So I try to kill enemies from a distance using Magic as they are not much challenge to me up close.

I'm on my second playthrough - playing with a companion. I love the way Lydia says, "Hey look! A cave! I wonder what's inside?", every time I exit a cave with her.

Nothing Lydia. The answer is nothing. We killed all the things. Goddamn Bethesda AI.

All mods except Lightning face are from skyrimnexus.com. I'll give the names you search for them.

Main graphic mods:

SkyrimHD 2k texture pack

Enhanced Night

Realistic Water Textures

and the most important: ENB HD6 Lighting enhancement.

Content mods:

SkyUI (proper UI for pc version)

Weapons of the Third Era (includes kickass katanas along with beautiful sayas, seen in last 2 pics)

Triss armor retextured (Yup. Triss' armor from Witcher 2)

As for Lightning face mod, its not available in nexus since Squeenix hasn't given permission yet (CDP gave for Triss armor):

@above

If your aim is to get the highest damage per second, simply get the perks in Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy, and a weapon tree of your choice. Dual wield recommended. Bonuses from all these stack, so you can craft a ridiculous weapon (made even more ridiculous if you consume some ridiculous alchemy potions before crafting) with ridiculous base damage. Then enchant it with ridiculous effects. Same for armors. People have breached 5k dps with these.

found a link describing it: http://elossia.blogspot.com/2011/12/ultimate-weapons-and-armor-in-skyrim.html

Well i haven't had any problems so far. No CTDs or anything. The only "problem" was enabling AA dumps my fps to 1 or 2. But that's a common problem when SSAO is also on(that ENB mod does that). Disabled AA, enabled FXAA instead, and everything has been fine so far.

I meant, what about peformance ? Are you able to run with proper frame rates etc ?

My specs:

2.8GHz triple core AMD

4gb ddr2

ATi HD4870 1gb ddr5

I play at 1024/768 resolution, since I'm still stuck with a 17" crt <_<

FXAA is much more efficient than normal AA, but it results in quite a bit of blurring. AA causes no blurring, but very hardware intensive. The problem here isn't that my system can't handle AA, rather AA and SSAO cause weird problems when they run together on this engine, but FXAA plays nice with SSAO.

I'll try to make a video... you can judge for yourselves if it's worth it. IMO it's completely worth it.

Tyler

Darkness forever quests, thieves guild jobs and Companion jobs are infinite right ?.....

Iam Guild Master now, so thieves guild jobs are pointless now...Same goes for DB and Companion quests......Iam already thane of all major cities...

Nothing left except some radiant misc fetch quests :| ....That's one thing i hate about Skyrim..Radiant quests system sucks...I wanted limited number of quests like Oblivion..

Done with Skyrim..now waiting for Expansion pack :P
