The story itself revolves around Spidey hunting Uncle Ben's killer; it's set in the movie universe but existing in its own continuity. The sequel will also introduce a new heroism system called "Hero or Menace" in which you're rewarded for stopping crime, but punished if you don't keep it up. I'm pretty sure TASM on PS360 looked way better than that and it's pretty late for that to be an early build. In fact TASM , was one of the best looking unreal engine games on consoles. Well , Kraven being Pete's mentor is quite a surprise and a bit weird. AFAIK this is like the first one , happens in the same movie universe but doesn't tie in. Like Rhino was cross-species in the first game but they're going for that suit from Ultimate for the movie ? Whatever Beenox do , just design better websling mechanics. Seriously , that web rush was uninspiring and normal swing is just plain boring and slow. Try and borrow / heck , even copy/paste from Sam Raimi's Spidey 2 movie tie in on the PS2/Xbox/GCN or Web of Shadows's websling mechanics. I strongly feel that that teaser of Sinister Six in the movie trailer is the base for the third movie ( & that Electro and Harry , if not Norman at the end fill the gap entirely ) but this pretty much confirms that they're not in the second. Calypso most probably will be in the game. Heck , after how the first game ended and the books , gut feel that she's after Connors and Felicia breaks out again after that bank heist where she teased about this universe's Norman Osborn. Should be same for PC as well. Activision has announced The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be available on April 29 in North America and May 2 in Europe, as well as revealed pre-order bonuses. Those who pre-order the title on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 or PC from either Gamestop in North America or GAME in the UK will receive four special in-game suits, each possessing unique combat bonuses. The costumes, which you can glimpse in the image below are the red and gold Iron Spider Suit, the blue and white Cosmic Spider-Man Suit, the Venom-like Black Suit and the Spider-Man Noir Suit. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, 3DS and PC on the above dates, though in North America the PC version will only be available digitally.
