Finished the game this evening! Damn... this game sure left me with some scenes that will forever stay etched in my mind. It's not for the scares that I will remember this title for but it's for the sheer gritty, dark and macabre environments that hooked me in and kept me intrigued that I will remember it for. The fog, the mist, the dark and dimly lit corridors and rooms... I loved it! Having said that the combat in this game, at least for me wasn't a particularly smooth experience. Probably it's just me but the melee attack system (specially because I was a heavy weapons user in the game) felt very slow and clumsy. Plus, the recovery time after a heavy attack with a weapon like the Hammer or the Axe is way too long and when fighting faster enemies like the glowing monster (aka Irohihi) and the blade legged girls (aka Harai Katashiro) was sometimes very frustrating. Also, when these monsters bum rush you they have a very big chance of getting the best of you very quickly! Also, the story felt so bizarre at certain points in the game, specially towards the end! This was good and bad in a way because I think it kept me playing right till the end and even though this game has multiple endings (which unlock on multiple play-throughs) I think the ending on the first play-through is the one I liked the most (I read about all the endings on Wiki after completing the game as I won't be giving this another play-through again). Started a blind playthrough on PC...

Just finished watching Royal Rumble... Gunther vs AJ was by far my pick... great, hard hitting match! Gunther can sure pack a lot of heat in his chest slaps! AJ got a nasty cut near his lower elbow during the match, bled quite a bit. The men's RR was meh. No surprise entrant that was even remotely exciting. RR has lost it's magic. Also, I have had enough with these masked Lucha wrestlers... they seem to multiply like rabbits in the locker room.

Congratulations to Carlito for getting the AO 2026 title and also the Career GS... what a feat at his tender age! Tremendous stuff. Heartbreak for Novak fans tonight. He was so clutch in the first set but after that Alcaraz settled down and from there on out Nole lost all steam. Shot selection and those tricky drop shots by Alcaraz were executed to perfection and they paid off. Don't know when Novak will be in a GS Final again and somehow GS title number 25 suddenly seems like a distant dream for him. Maybe at the Wimby or USO? We shall see. With Sinner and Alcaraz both in their prime it's a daunting task to repeatedly face them at almost 39.

Two cracking SF games today. Been watching Tennis since the morning... Djokovic doing the unthinkable today. At 38 beating Sinner and saving 16/18 BPs... stupendous mental fortitude. True GOAT! Towards the end of the match Novak was playing from the baseline like a man possessed!

Pretty much knew they would make Sami win the Fatal-4 way match on SNME in Montreal It was effing -17C in Montreal on Saturday night

So, have been playing Outer Worlds 2 of late and been enjoying it so far. I came across this guy in the game: Is it just me or does he look like this guy below:

@Pushy: Did you watch Survivor Series? Lesnar is still such a unit by himself... an absolute beast! Cena's match was fun to watch... specially the ending, LoL!

Okay. Did you watch a video of the story in the first game on Youtube to have a better understanding of this game? I ask this because I haven't played the first game either and can't decide if I should just jump into this or play the first one before.

Cronos: The New Dawn (PC). Loving the game so far. Very atmospheric and a grippy story.
