Black Panther

A brand new studio making a AAA title, hmm. EA has been investing in some good Singleplayer titles in recent years.

This is still in early stage of production so atleast 3 to 4 years away. If they do this right EA might have a new IP strong in their hands. Goes for Immortals of Aveum too.

I get having video games for the biggest superheroes, but wouldn't you prefer a new IP instead of a Black Panther game?

Games are fine.

Movies I don't watch. Too much superhero stuff.

Unless it's Batman. Then I go to theatre.

Not sure if I like this trend of single player superhero games.

Black Panther video game will work just like Batman games.

Panther heavily relies on gadgets and martial arts style combat. So expect combat to be exact copy of Arkham games mixed with gadgets just like Arkham games.

Hopefully not. That combat system is from 2009 and played out IMO.

I would like to see free form fighting system like they made in Prince of Persia Warrior within/ Sands of Time.

Black Panther is quite huge post the movies.

Second only to Spider-Man & Iron-Man.

Black Panther is more popular than Batman? Anyway, I don't see the appeal of a Black Panther video game. His powers aren't that unique.

I mean, didn't Spider-Man kind of copy it lol? It works still.

Why not both ? Im liking the trend of single player super hero games. il take it any day over GaaS.

EA started finding value in single player games again. But that doesn't mean they need to be superhero games, especially when it's a superhero like Black Panther who's just a fighter. Also, Amy Hennig's already developing a Black Panther game if I'm not wrong.

Was talking about his powers specifically. I've only seen the movies and all he is, is a superhuman who fights in a suit with some gadgets.

It depends on execution.

Batman games are done to perfection. They create great gameplay scenarios.

But I would like to see some shake up in combat department. It's starting to feel a bit button mashy at this point.

Than what is batman?

That's the point. We already have Batman. Don't need a lesser version.

I'll be surprised if these guys innovate in that department.
