mango_man
Um..it looks cool. Thats its whole point. Its for aesthetic purposes. And the whole point is that it is ONLY using any resources(as little as it does) IF you are seeing it. If working or gaming in any fullscreen app it goes to sleep. So I am sorry but I am not seeing the argument here. Its not for showboating or OCD or any other obnoxious reason. Its for the same reason you wore a blue tshirt today instead of a red one or stressed your gpu for another as useless(or fruitful, depends on perspective) activity like gaming or a movie. Its for feels. Hehe As for Rainmeter, its point is different(fron videos you shared). With wallpaper engine its right now a dark cozy little fireplace on my desktop. Minimal, tasteful and really HQ. I dont think such a thing was possible before this on PC, atleast not this simply and bug-freely. Problem is you seem to not have used this app or tried it so you are not able to imagine what and how it is. Once you do, then you can decide whether you do or do not appreciate whats its doing, aesthetically or otherwise. Its not some random aero effect or rotating widgets. Heaven Angel
Must say that looks neat, really. But it'll eat some of the memory tho. Should disable it when playing high end games.
Heaven Angel
Steam has confirmed it will be adding the 10% Goods and Services Tax to all purchases made. It's part of a roll out across multiple different countries. Starting in March, for example, Steam will be adding sales to taxes to Switzerland, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Iceland, South Africa, and India.Australia's rollout is slated for July. The VAT tax amount will be included in the advertised price of your product, just like VAT is currently treated in the EU. This means the customer will pay the price displayed on the storefront, and the tax will be separated out afterwards.

Big Boss
15% is okay. 1000 rs wala game 1150 ka ho jayega. It's not earth shattering. Who buys games at full price anyways. Edited February 22, 2017 by Big Boss

Aftrunner
Its not that bad. Its a hike of 100~ at max for 99% of the games I buy. Would be nice if we could see more pubs do regional pricing though. #AccheDin

Heaven Angel
5k for one game, excluding DLC's/Season pass which cost around 3.5k . So overall a bugestha game cost around 9k
mohit9206
Damn 15% sales tax. Why? PC gaming just got 15% more expensive. Less people will now buy a game at launch and more people will now wait for sales.
djanuj
Guys is it worth buying GRW Gold edition from steam for 2.5k? Will I be charged 15% tax if I pay today?
