Tokyo Jungle Brings A Post Apocalyptic Wildlife War To PS3

Lions, tigers and... pomeranians will run wild in the streets of a deserted Tokyo in Sony's newest PlayStation 3 exclusive, Tokyo Jungle, a most unusual concept revealed in the newest issue of Famitsu magazine.

Tokyo Jungle takes place in a deserted, futuristic Japan, in which the city has transformed into a vicious wildlife wasteland. Developed by the PlayStation C.A.M.P. team, Tokyo Jungle will be stuffed with realistic looking animals to control and pit against each other—elephants, crocodiles, cheetahs, porcupines, chickens, ostriches and much, much more.

The game will spin a post-apocalyptic yarn that explains how, in the year 20XX, mankind has all but disappeared from the planet, leaving behind toy dogs and race horses to fend for themselves.

We really, really, really hope this will be playable at Tokyo Game Show in September. This looks wild.

As usual the PSF.A.G.S. start wetting themselves over a concept. As long as its exclusive, it doesnt have to be a good game.

Wasn't there some NatGeo simulator exclusive for the PS3 as well? That game has all the fanboys swooning and look how it turned out. :P

Its not abt exclusive or not...just that so many awesome games keep coming one after a another and something different from usual games are always welcome even if they dont go on to sell like Lalo.

sorry if they are mostly exclusives :console:

This look as crappy and boring as the previous jungle game..WTF was it called???

hankunamtata or something??

This is an amazing concept ..i dont know why u guys calling it crap... the game u are talking abt was also known as Africa, it was a good concept and it was not for everyone.

Is it a full on no holds barred gory extreme jungle warfare between different animal clans ?? if so then :wOOtjumpy:

Lusty lions

Ravishing-rampaging rhinos

Fiery foxes

Crazy c*ck punching crocs

Enticing-enraged elephants

not to mention,

bears-with-guns.jpeg

I dont think it is totally like afrika, i mean look, LOOK at the image, the lion just took the decapitated the fox's face with that one swoosh. Does anyone really think this game will be for children to learn about jungles ?

also-

versus fights ? i want gore.. lots of gore !

look upwards of your post and count the no. of PSF.A.G.S "wetting themselves".. i see none (ok maybe one), there are more replies condemning this as a fail. What i see however is your inner troll stuck on a broken record

most of us ps3 owners think this is a fail if its an afrika 2.0; but if its a mortal kombat of amimals (which it kind of looks like in the image) then its something to be excited about. Too ambiguous to tell right now.
