Coz it allows every single score even from random YouTubers & Shills who always rates games high so that they keep getting review codes from all sorts of publishers. Like I already said in other thread, OC shows actual scores from every major outlets and trusted influencers like YT ACG and SkillUp. Every opinion matters, goos or bad. Anyway, 90 or 91 dont matter. Every publisher will obviously want to give out codes to the maximum number of ppl who rate games higher than stating actual facts. It’s an endless & deeply flawed cycle if one let’s the gate open for everyone. Metacritic is a more foolproof system. If a reviewer thinks he’s better off without this system just because their score is not being treated like IGN,Gamespot,Eurogamer,Edge,Game Informer,Metro etc then they have little to no chance of reaching that level ever!! If its full proof then why you were crying about score from sites like Smash Xbox which put their score on Metacritic. MS can easily pay those Metacritic sites as well and buy them?. Money talks bro. If IGN,Gamespot,Eurogamer,Edge,Game Informer,Metro etc give a game 7 & other chhapri ones give it a 10 then the aggregate score will still be on the lower side despite same number of 7’s & 10’s.
