Infamous 1 digital is lying on my PS3 since half a year, dunno why but when i started it I was excited, later on i just find it boring, stupid and time wastage, stretched without reason... I am in 2-5 hours, don't even remember or maybe just open world type games are not my type :D

overall 2 was better than 1 like it should be but infamous 1 was a great start for the series..infamous 1 campaign is little boring at the start but does get better as the game progresses.. it had a really badass ending though.

New Details Emerge For PS4’s Infamous: Second Son
It’s time to jump into a next-gen sandbox.

The June, 2013 issue of Game Informer has been revealed, and it’s chock-full of great information about everything PlayStation 4.

The cover of this issue is adorned with imagery from Infamous: Second Son, perhaps the most exciting first-party PlayStation 4 game we know to be in development, and Game Informer has a bunch of new details about the game worth sharing.

Second Son stars a 24-year old named Delsin Rowe, a character of Native American heritage described as “the artistic type with a chip on his shoulder.” Much like Cole MacGrath, the protagonist in Infamous and Infamous 2, Rowe learns of and is given his powers by happenstance. Conduits – those with special powers in the Infamous universe – are being transported by the government as the game begins, but after an accident derails the vehicle they’re in, Rowe “learns that he’s been a conduit all along” while dragging Conduit corpses from the mangled wreck.

Unlike Cole, who could famously manipulate electricity (and later ice and fire), young Delsin can manipulate smoke, a strange and mysterious power, but one that doesn’t necessarily reflect his entire range of would-be skills as you work your way through the game. And yes, the choice system that found a home with Infamous and Infamous 2 will be back in Second Son.

For the first time, an Infamous game takes place in a real city: Seattle.

24-year old Delsin Rowe is the main character in Infamous: Second Son

Delsin wages war on the Department of Unified Protection’s soldiers (known as DUP in the game) with his smoke powers, other powers yet to be revealed by the developer, and a chain-like melee weapon that seems to take the place of Cole’s Amp. Not surprisingly, Delsin’s smoke power is replenished by absorbing smoke, similar to Cole’s ability to harness electricity. However, it is noted that smoke is far rarer than electricity was in the previous two games in the series, meaning that a more thoughtful approach to combat will be required. Interestingly, smoke is absorbed by using the DualShock 4’s mysterious touch pad.

It looks great.

Quick look:

Stars 24-year-old Native American Delsin Rowe
Delsin is the artistic type with a chip on his soldier
Fan of anti-authoritarian street art
Likes tagging buildings with his own art
Very much an average guy until the conduit-transport vehicle crashes
Delsin tries to help those in the wreck, and learns that he’s been a conduit all along with dragging an injured conduit from the area
Soon realizes that he can control smoke
Natural power lets him absorb other conduits’ power
Can use more than smoke power
Delsin is excited about his power unlike Cole

Gameplay:

Delsin can take down different forward-operating bases run by the DUP around Seattle
Can get through these areas with force, but eliminating security systems is more effective
Smoke projectile at Delsin’s disposal
Also can perform a smoke-dash maneuver somewhat like Nightcrawler
Air ducts found all across Seattle
Can use the ducts to get around or climb like Cole
Another technique lets Delsin throw smoking fireballs
When Delsin descends, he can perform a “move” like Cole’s thunder drop
Forests act as the edge of the game world
secondson06 secondson05 secondson04
Conduits have been identified, holding them without trial in containment facilities
Department of Unified Protection shows its power during an operation that doesn’t go as planned in Seattle
Transport vehicle crashes and the conduits escape
DUP sets up roadblocks and won’t let anyone enter/leave
Lots of security systems are sent out and Seattle is turned into something reminisint of an airport
There are elevated walkways with search-lights and security cameras as well as checkpoints and scanners
Game has parallels to post-9/11 America setting
Security vs. freedom theme
DUP is like the TSA
DUP guards feature behavior similar to that of SWAT teams/trained military police
Others have a seemingly supernatural ability to shield themselves and move around quickly
