Same I do enjoy difficult games but those games must have some wiggle room ( Dark souls , Sekiro , Hades and Returnal).

Also dodging is much easier to mater than parrying once you are familiar with move sets of enemy/boss.

 

Also there is an easy mode (Student)  too now for those who find standard difficulty (Disciple ) too challenging. 

 


started playing this today, took me a while to understand the flow and rhythm of the game. But beat the first boss 20 mins in

It was showing to me as some 7k for renewal recently, mine ends in another 4 months i believe .  7k is a bit too much, I’m hoping for discount offer by then !

Immortal of Aveum + Dave the Diver + Zau = good month for me.

Just went thru some of the reviews of immortals of aveum , it has good reviews and even the gameplay looks good. Is this a well known game ? I’ve hardly heard much about it so far.

Save yourself the trouble as the game performance is dogshit on PS5. Uninstalled right now after playing for 2 hrs. I can swear it dips into 30 fps frequently and 1 st boss fight was 20 fps, I am actually surprised that this game is being sold on PS5 in its current state.

It’s getting FSR 3 support on consoles pretty soon.

Maybe worth a try then….

What I came to conclude is that unreal engine 5 is not for current gen console unless game target 30fps.

 

Boss fight sequence throughout was slideshow.

Working fine for me. No dips at all.

 

I have completed 4 chapters. Would have completed the whole game but helldivers 2 keeps on calling. 
 

@NeO game is good and it’s free. So try it out.

Dips into 40s during boss fights and in so many fights and sequence with latest patch. It so jarring when frame keeps jumping from 60 to 50 and to 40.

Watch the video they should have locked the frame rate to 40 fps as frequent change makes this unplayable for me.

 

I gave up after 2 hours.

Yup! 100%. Have not faced any issue. Will start the next chapter today.
