dylanjosh Posted October 13 Report Share Posted October 13 Finished the base game. Awesome experience 9/10 Only cut a point because having only 2 types of puzzles felt very boring. The ladder/raft bits again and again. I already knew the story from the TV show so wasn't surprised by any of the main plot bits. Some differences stood out though, Joel feels like way more of an a**hole for one. But Ellie in the game is a better character than in the show. I think the Joel a**hole contrast actually plays into this as it makes Ellie more sympathetic. I think the David part was done better in the show too. Will play Left Behind some other day. HDR sucks balls in Windows in general. I just open the jxr file in photoshop and use 8 bit tone mapping to export to PNG. And it still has blowouts in bright areas. Like up top in this image... You'd be silently sneaking by a bunch of clickers, and here comes Ellie running by you with loud terp terp terp terp. Similar could be said about Spider-Man 2 which also has RT playing a major role. Games are really struggling to achieve 47fps at Dynamic 1080p now days.
