How much time are you guys spending hunting for resources to craft your weapons? The Crafting system in this game is deep!

I did resource hunting for achievement that's it. I just bought ships from vendor and got legendary armors and weapons from enemies.

There's a very easy to gather some resources but its bit spoilery.

I am specialising in a weapon type so will upgrade just one weapon to max.

Haven't unlocked crafting skills yet, all research are pending.

Damn, how many hours did you put into it. Am assuming you did everything in the game, crafting to base/ship building.

Yes, I did everything. All the quest, outpost (as many as game allowed), ship building. In fact, there are so many different type of ships that you can build that it is kinda crazy plus custom ships beat every other ship available in the game.

I did around 160-200 hours or so I guess.

One of my custom for late game-

Congrats. True gamer right there.

Feel free to headover to Spoiler thread to share your experiences of some of the choices you made in the game. Link in my last post above or goto Discussion section of the forum.

I also did almost everything in the game except Outpost building and all. Im planning to start NG+ after im done with Cyberpunk, since story and interaction with some characters is different in NG+.

80 hrs in. Time for some critical issues I am having with the game. A couple of observations.

- Game can sometimes be difficult to have fun with.
- I don't know how to stop playing it if I am not having fun.

Ok, both of them expand on same point.

But I do experience some wild swings in how much I am enjoying it.

One day I am having an absolute blast. Found a quest that had me explore an underground lab where something went horribly wrong. Very cool. 10/10.

Next day, I decide to play more quests. Tried 3 of them, all turned out to be intergalactic fetch quests. Tough luck, so decided to do some planet scanning. Can't find last animal after 3 hrs.... Ok, no problem, let's explore some planets and see if we find any cool settlements. Nothing after an hour. Today's session turned out to be 6/10.

Next day can be anything from 6/10 to 10/10 experience. There is no guarantee.

-------

One thing I do like about it is how music and graphics/atmosphere come together to give you an experience. It stimulates me like no other game gawking at scenery. Bethesda were always good at this but I think Starfield is leaps and bounds above what they have made before.

Sure, listening to soundtrack on Spotify, Final Fantasy 16 is better. But the way soundtrack in this game compliments and enhances my experience, I think it's peerless.

This might be the reason why I can't stop playing it despite some 6/10 sessions.

90 hrs in, done only 5 main quests, no faction quests or companion quests. I think this game is gonna last me a long time.

Yesterday decided to drop it and start playing something else. But somehow wondered back and started playing it. Next thing, I check the clock, 2 hrs already gone.
