Hey Guys,

Is anyone using any Web3, crypto or Defi project for personal/business? I want to understand what bottlenecks are you facing with that particular project and what would it take to push your use-case 10x?

Hi. Anyone successfully received an order from Aliexpress lately? Whats the best way? Need a few components that are not available elsewhere.

Wont work. Unless you contact a seller via message and do a deal outside aliexpress

Yeah, so I’ve been told elsewhere too. What about these “ali-forwarders”?

Havent tried but should work similar to the US ones I guess. The ban is not on imports from china, only on those portals

No man. Honestly i have doubts about the future of crypto in India. First, 30% tax and now authorities have banned major crypto exchanges, most of my funds still locked in those exchanges. I think im done with crypto.

Was not talking from a retail perspective. Was talking from a perspective of non-retail use-cases but got the gist.

Does that mean you can't liquidate?

Can anyone provide good prep-resources for GMAT? Specifically for the new GMAT Focus.

Official guides and online question bank by GMAC are the best source of practice questions, don’t go for any other questions by 3rd party providers (although Manhattan Prep is decent but pricey)

Before anything else, register on mba.com and take a full length free mock test to gauge where you stand and form a strategy to tackle different sections

btw, what score are you targeting?

Is this the official: https://www.amazon.in/GMAT-OFFICIAL-GUIDE-FOCUS-2023/dp/9354646506 ?

Also, I am targeting 750+ on the new GMAT focus.

I am a little confused if GRE would be better or not, target are B-schools only.
Schools don't have a preference but just thinking about which is easier to crack.

good luck man. I found it difficult because of the time pressure and mind games if you struggle with few questions in a row by getting them wrong as the difficulty drops

amazon link is correct. There are also 3 other books if you need additional official questions for each section

GRE has more vocab than GMAT but GRE is easier overall. Just take an official GMAT mock on mba.com. If you are scoring around 720-730 on the mock without any study, you can improve to 750+ with study and refinement.

after 1st GMAT mock, study and see if you are able to crack 750+ in next mocks. If yes, go for real exam. If score after study is not reaching desired level, try GRE

Why not just go for the easier GRE?

Anyway, I will give mock for both of them and see what's the best.

Thanks.

taking the GMAT, which is designed for b-schools, sort of shows your commitment to business schools, about your decision for management education. Reporting GRE scores may show indecision to management school adcoms, as its widely accepted for lots of graduate programs, about your selection of programs or even a lack of clarity about career goals

I don't think colleges have a preference nowadays.

Anyway, took a mock test from MBA.com for GMAT focus. Scored 700.

Now according to the equivalency table, 700 is equivalent to 750 on the old test.

While 750 on the new test will only result to a 770 equivalent. They have truly made it difficult to score higher.

Nevertheless, I did get confused in Verbal and I need to polish few basic concepts in Quant now.

But will give a mock test for GRE first.

In GMAT FE, scores always end in 5 like 695, 705, 725. You are saying 700 and 750 in FE which doesn’t seem to be correct

Score equivalence in GMAT classic and GMAT FE or new FE being hard to score higher doesn’t matter. It’s the percentile that matters. For example, 705 in FE has the same percentile as 750 in classic both are 98.6 percentile

ideally you should target 99th percentile score which is 760 in classic and 725 in FE

For 99 percentile in GRE, I think the target score is 333 or above
