Big Boss
Hell no, health is just for the show. As you progress further the enemies gets bigger and much more deadlier and/or greater in numbers. So health feels the same. I have progressed much further than you and have unlocked almost the whole map. Except Behemoths in groups, I haven't found any unbeatable or highly tough enemies. Ne0
Not really . Level up just gives a health bar , the damage is dependent on the weapon if I am not wrong.Yep, leveling up doesn't really help, even the corrupted watchers can take one bar in a single hit.... The skills aren't that enticing for bow/arrow either, most of them are for better stealth and melee.... even the weapons, the shadow hunter bow causes exactly the same damage as carja bow, I think the damage differs only on the basis of mods and the type of arrows ! Big Boss
What? I am able to kill normal watchers in one hit of spear now, and I haven't upgraded the spear. Also I took down Storm bird. Wtf that was intense. Still I took it out, didn't even die. Pretty sure I couldn't have killed it at lesser levels.
mango_man
Should I invest points in double/triple arrow perk? Cant imagine it being of any use in the heat of combat..just good for the first strike. Or is it a gamechanger?

Django_3101
Should I invest points in double/triple arrow perk? Cant imagine it being of any use in the heat of combat..just good for the first strike. Or is it a gamechanger? I unlocked double arrow sometime ago. Really didn't find any good use of it til now. Invest only when you don't have anything else to unlock. I think the use is only when you want to do DPS in stealth mode. When I am face to face with an enemy, I often forget to use this ability. 1. Tinker is the most important ability for me so that I can customize my weapon mods as per the enemy I am facing. 2. Max concentration and then fast reload during concentration Edited March 11, 2017 by Django_3101
Tyler
Double/triple arrows are good for stacking elemental effects fast. Especially corruption. However I don't see myself using them too often. Concentration works just as well. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk

Django_3101
Was not in the mood to fight. Overrode sawtooth and sat back, watched 2 sawtooths trying to take each other down Do Ahsis quest in meridian ASAP, he gives a sweet reward at the end
Heaven Angel
+10 health for every level up and when a machine hits you, you loose more than half of the health in one instant. So, +50 health is nothing as compared to loosing 300 health in one go, however I do agree with Ambar too. level 35 and still not reached meridian means you can take more hits from upcoming machines. so, it is as good as playing on normal difficulty at level 20 I do not think the number of enemies increase on harder difficulty. Regardless of my level or my health I still take only one to 2 hits from enemies before I die, not more than that. However if I turn the game even on Hard from Very Hard I become kind of Invincible at this stage. Not because of my health bar but because I have been playing on the hardest difficultly and know how to react in certain situation. No, I didn't said the difficulty increases enemies in numbers but going to new further locations and you'll start seeing them in numbers and upgrades like Watchers becomes Red Eye Watchers which don't take one hit in the eye anymore, Sawtooths becomes Ravagers now more aggressive with ranged attacks. Go even further and you'll start to see them in numbers and so on. I have progressed much further than you and have unlocked almost the whole map. Except Behemoths in groups, I haven't found any unbeatable or highly tough enemies. Bhai everyone said that the game becomes quite OP on normal mode after you've progressed towards the end in game because you find more powerful modifications and armor. I still wearing the Carja armor and using 1 slot of very rare and other slots of rare mods. I need to farm a bit for better modifications. Also 1 thing that when you pick up the medical plants they won't give more than 14% and that too very rarely. Most of the time I get only 7% which I always go to farm them before going into combat. But in lower difficulty you even get 24% sometimes.
Django_3101
That is what I am saying, Playing on normal at level 20 will also kill me with 2 hits if I wear the same armor as you are. If you invest in a good armor and farm for good amount of mods, with the amount of health you have right now, you will manage to take 3 hits before dying. I reached level 33 now and have started feeling slightly OP with the kind of arsenal I have. Hard and V. hard, you have to play a bit more tactical as you do less damage than in normal mode. At the end of the day, its all about enjoying a game regardless of difficulty. Didn't know about the medicinal herbs giving you less percentage on higher level. Tyler
Made a couple of videos... First, getting all 3 Blazing Suns in the highest level Hunting Grounds. Second, probably the most challenging Corruption Zone with two Corrupted Rockbreakers, not my most efficient fight but I made it after dying to these bastards 5-6 times. The trick is to quickly blow up the green sacs under their bodies.
Ne0
^^ Dude, you rock ! I'm at level 18 and still finding it difficult to take down 2 shell Walkers and a Ravager together ! I use stealth most of the times and just get past most machines that I can't override or I bring in a broadhead and allow it to take a few enemies it before I jump in [emoji14] Also, I just cheesed out the two corrupters in one of the main quests by perching on top of the excavation site haha PS: Also, a special mention to the sheer variety of enemies in this game. Last game I saw so much variety was Bloodborne ! Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk Edited March 11, 2017 by Ne0
Tyler
Yep, I like how the game gives you a lot of freedom in how you approach most encounters. Cheesing is always an option. And yeah I absolutely love the machine designs and almost every enemy has a different behavior. Fighting them is always a joy. Yet, most of the main missions (at least so far) usually feature human enemies.
Django_3101
Neat videos there. awesome. Such a humble rockbreaker. It specially surfaced after death to give you the loot so you have all sun blazing medals, you got the best weapons yet? Are they effective? Tyler, you haven't done the main story after Maker's End ?
