PS Fan
Titanfall 2 Sales Went So Badly That It’s Already at Half Price, Even on EA’s Origin http://wccftech.com/titanfall-2-sales-went-badly-already-half-price-even-eas-origin/
Heaven Angel
It is common. Sales have nothing to do with black Friday deals. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is available for $30. Dishonored 2 is available for $36. Mirrors Edge Catalyst is available for $5 Overwatch: Origins edition is available for $35.
CarbonCore
Yeah Battlefield 1 must've bombed hard too considering it was going for near half price last week.

PS Fan
TF2 debut@ no. 9 in NA. Both digital and retail version sales were less than Skyrim Special edition which only includes retail version sales. Both games were released on 28th October. http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=224843523 Well done EA. Heaven Angel
Um, Elder Scrolls franchise is huge, and SKYRIM has pushed the series out of bounds. It's at #6 in 3 days and doesn't even include digital sales. If everything was counted, it would in top 2. The game is like in top 10 forever for most played even after 5 years. Comparing it to Titanfall 2 is not even fair. Edited November 21, 2016 by Heaven Angel

[emoji14] [emoji14] Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk Abey fir bhi bc 5 saal poorana game hai. TF1 was top seller when it was released in March Here http://www.gamechup.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/march-2014-npd-software-sales-e1397776114272.jpg Sequel is released on more platforms and still failed to match retail sales of a 5 year old game. It's all EA's fault. They did no marketing and then sent it to die in October.

Heaven Angel
How can they when Microsoft has acquired the marketing rights for the game? Titanfall 2 will take advantage of Sony’s PS4 Pro. Meanwhile, it seems that the house of Microsoft has acquired the marketing rights for the game. Not really EA's fault here. Microsoft was behind full marketing. It was one of the reasons the game was not available for EA early access. PS Fan
MS promoted TF1 like their first party game coz it was exclusive but this time it was all on EA. It was EA's decision to release in October not MS. And it was Respawn decision to not allow this as EA access https://www.google.co.in/amp/amp.windowscentral.com/titanfall-2-wont-receive-discounts-or-trial-ea-access-or-origin-access?client=ms-android-sonymobile EA access helps MS coz most multi console gamers buy EA games on XboxOne platform coz of EA access discount and early access, plus MS also gets cut. Heaven Angel
Microsoft had marketing rights. Respawn said NO to EA access. But everything is EA's fault? How? EA access helps to sell games. It lets people try it before buying. If Respawn didn't allow, then it's their own fault for the game not selling well. They put Titanfall under EA access but not the second part. Perhaps they were not happy with their own game and didn't want others to find out with just early access. Titanfall sold so much because it was new IP and everyone was excited about pilots/mech style shooter. Re-doing same thing is not really going to sell that much again when the base game's multiplayer didn't even last for months. October or November. You simply cannot expect a shooter to compete with Battlefield 1 or Call of Duty.
Aftrunner
Bought it! 1800 is a pretty sweet price and hard to say no to. It really was incredibly dumb not putting it on EA access though. Then again, it probably saved me money. If I loved it on EA access I woulda bought it full price. PS Fan
Joe EA fault coz it was their decision to release against BF1 in October. https://www.vg247.com/2016/05/11/ea-is-not-worried-about-releasing-both-battlefield-1-and-titanfall-2-in-the-same-period/ Zampella himself said that he was not happy about release date. This proves it was EA's decision. Edited November 21, 2016 by WhiteWolf
Heaven Angel
I wonder if you read at all. Battlefield and Titanfall are two very different types of shooters. “Some people play very quick play, some people play more strategic, some people want both in different context. A publisher will always want to sell more and more. They wanted to release it before Call of Duty and take control of the market. It has nothing to do with Battlefield release. Also, EA has already said they are looking for the long run. We remind people we’re building a franchise with Titanfall, so it’s not about the first day of sales or the first week of sales, it’s about the long run. And if you have forgotten, it was Zampella who came to EA for funding their studio & games. How is so hard to see that the game is simply not good enough to sell? If they release it in November, people will say it failed as Call of Duty released.

Aftrunner
Oh man. Played a few hours of MP and looks like they must have fixed the movement cause it feels just like TF1 i.e GOD TIER. No other game (except Halo 5 I think) gets the feel of player movement that right. It makes the CoD games feel like cheap knock offs. Map design is pretty hit and miss though. Looks like Asian servers are gonna be not an option for long. But EU servers are pretty playable if not perfect. So hopefully it should some legs. Havent even touched the campaign yet.
