I generally buy General's 1.5T window offering but need something with more cooling capacity this time (a bit bigger room & it gets hot at peak).

General has 1.8T window option but there is absolutely no stock for any General window SKU near me.

Anything else which can match or be better?

Not looking for sh*t LGs or Hitachis, need something which will last years.

Also, have had bad experience with splits so not looking for them.

@Bird Bird Bird

My dad had Daikin window in his office for like 40 years and swears by it lol. They have a 1.5T unit for like 40k.

So just like another normal day, I turned on my Xbox last night and it mentioned I have been signed out. When I tried signing in, it told me that I need to try from an internet browser.

Upon logging in to my Microsoft account, I got a message:

"your account has been locked We've detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account."

I have filled up the mentioned form in the link, and have got a ticket number in my alternate ID which I mentioned in the form. I wanted to know if anyone else has faced this issue. The email ID is being used for over 20 years and has my One Drive subscription and Xbox Live details which I am no longer being able to access.

Just checked with my vendor. He has 1.8Ton General window for 48k.

But he doesn't ship as he says it's a problem for him. But he says there is no shortage right now. So local vendors in Delhi should have it.

A two year old General just completely lost its gas. I guess can't trust any brand.

Where are you located ? Noida/Gurgaon are the worst for ACs - my office (Delhi) Daikin AC has been going strong for 4+ years without any issues, same ac same model in Noida has gas leaks every season.

The new Panasonic range has been good got one installed three years back (they had some blue coating marketing gimmick) but it works I guess, going strong for three years in Noida.

South Delhi, no drain issue. I think the last service guy butchered it, that is when I started noticing symptoms which I did not recognize as a gas leak.
Now my dad is against letting the General guy fix it, he will get it fixed by a local.

Must be Indian version as I mentioned earlier. There is a reason I did not go for General this time. After Covid and especially Indian units are NOT good.

Apparently there is no leak. The guy pumped it full of gas and connected the system to a pressure monitor for an hour, there wasn't any drop.

Not sure where the gas went without the leak, unless the gas just lost its potency.

Guys, which refrigerator brand to go for. Samsung or LG.

Looking for 322 ltr fridge.

Samsung is crap. We have a ~ 600 lt one, rubbish. Breaks every year.

LG appliances have been decently OK for far.

Ahhh, LG is not deliverable at my place.

One thing I noticed in space is that LG is deep and Samsung is broader which makes samsung look more spacious. Don't know, may be I may be wrong.

You have basically quoted the exact thing which got my and Bird's mom to choose Samsung. STAY AWAY.
Mine did not break but it just keeps creating ice and noises while customer service executives keep telling me that is the tech they have built.
Get LG and stay sane.
