Security forces themselves were given free hand by PM and they choose the method of striking camps with missiles. Security forces know the best method and best strategy. Its easy to say that soldiers should do this and that. Dont question the method coz forces know what's best in current situation.

In my previous post Ive already said that where needle is required, using sword is baseless. I mean we should've infiltrate these terrorists camps in pak secretly, using our intelligence wing RAW and sleeping agents in apk and dismantle them internally by destroying their networks and killing main leaders. I dont think terrorist group will stop infiltrating india. We did the same thing in 2016, and it took them 3 years to do it again. Then we again shot down their bases in 2019, now it took them 5 years to come back. My point is pak waging gorilla war against us using these terrorists proxies, and no one can win against gorilla warfare if only using conventional war tactics. History is the best example, look at shivaji and shambhaji, with their small and fragmented army, they bring down the most powerful empire of that time in the entire world to its knees, by just using gorilla warfare. But sadly these secret mission goes unnoticed in public eyes. So it cannot be leveraged politically.
