I was doing the one mission where you have to grab Anders Hellman from the Kang Tao corpos who've setup shop in this gas station/garage/restraurant structure, cleared the whole building by just using l33t h4x

Aside from the usual overheat spamming, used distract enemies -> overload on some turrets and fuel stations to blow up the mooks

Back in 2020 I think, the playthrough that time I remember was extremely cancerous for this very mission, but with quickhacks it's a cakewalk, literally was just camped on the cliff and didn't move an inch.

Best part is I just have 12 int and not even have the proper perks, or fancy quickhacks

I just need to farm up till 40 street cred now, then i can do the build in the video, just walk through an area and killing mooks with a glance

The Adam Smasher fight is going to be very fun   at this rate

I am also sad that you can't change gender in game, female V looks to be more customizable plus doesn't look like an NPC.

So started another play through after upgrading to patch 1.6.  I still see so many bugs.  Also, it feels as if they've made all the NPC's damn squeamish that they keep running in all the directions even if V as much as scrapes the kerb by mistake in her vehicle.  And if by chance a NPC just touches v's bike, ncpd starts spamming out of nowhere ! Highly annoying !

The transmog feature for wardrobe is a nice addition though.

I'm planning to focus on a good INT build this time and complete the play through with different choices, if the bugs don't make me give up i.e., !

Tried out a couple of mods as well since I'm on PC:

- Metro system :  This gives a metro car using some of the metro stations and the network for V to travel though, which looks like the dev's built initially but didn't make it to the final cut.  The city looks beautiful while the car going through.  Only a handful of stations can be entered though. Once the novelty wore off, I felt the existing in game fast travel is still a much better option to zip around fast.

- Let there be flight : This makes all the vehicles in the game fly.  I found the controls not that good, but i felt the mod is very professionally done.  And the city does look amazing when flying through....v was able to reach some of the non accessible areas in the game like the space shuttle launch center, although it can't be really driven upon after landing !

Just do it!

with a good cyberdeck you'll be wiping out goons before even stepping into a building

You don't even need to use guns in most cases, the quickhacks have you all covered.

So as mentioned before playing thru the game with 1.6 patch on PC and still come across so many crashes and bugs.  INT build is good though.  But for some reason the game doesn't really tell you much about it.  I think they should've built the game around it, instead it's relegated to just another build type and you can complete the game without even investing many points here (like i did in my first playthrough).

Also those ncpd mini quests are actually good and give nice drops and a good way to earn xp early on in the game.  Again it's not mandatory and the game doesn't highlight it, unless one goes to the map and finds it.

Also the world looks so beautiful, IMO, this is the true next gen game visually.  No other game comes even close !

Finished the game finally, after grinding to level 50 and clearing out like ~5 areas apart from Watson.

Inspite of them f**king us with the "you're gonna die anyway lol" across the endings, I feel the "Sun" ending is the best one, atleast V will go out with a bang.

Did the "Secret Ending" version where you seige the Arasaka Tower all alone, you get Rogue alive this way.

Smashed Adam also, he's a joke with 20 INT and cripple movement/weapon glitch/reboot optics type hacks

Really wish they gave us a Crystal Palace DLC :(

Adam Smasher in the game is not even close to how he was depicted in the tv show....

I felt like cooldown timer was ZERO for Adam Smasher. I kept quickhacking him again and again and killing him was easier than killing some cyberpsycho sightings out there.

The one in the TV show had a sandevistan, this guy just has his special smart shotgun and his rocket attacks, I just ran around while hitting him with quickhacks, and there were turrets around too

Now that it has stabilized, I feel like getting this on PC as well. Haven't played much since I bought it on PS5. Can't sell that version either as my PS5 is digital so I end up buying digital games and later buy them on PC lol:(

Get it on PC, there's the winter sale going on too.

DLC dropping next year so you can get into the DLC after doing the main campaign
