Yeah should be around that price. Sony will promote the digital version due to costs. Dont buy the Slim disc drive till Sony confirms the same. Reason not to buy original PS5 as of now. But 60k would be stretching too much. Looks like there are no major AAA PS5 release in the near future unless there is a shadow drop on launch day. They will need to show comparisons to justify the PS5 pro. The load times and close to 4k graphics and almost all great games giving 60 fps modes was fantastic. I can never go back to previous gen or PS3 gen 30 fps gaming. This is my favourite gen after PS2. Better to wait for SP games to be played on upgraded systems at sublime quality. Day 1 for SP is not as important. Demon Souls Remake. FF16 is beauty to behold on PS5 ( boss fights are literally best part of the game and the feeling of satisfaction you get when you dodge or parry a boss attack cannot be described!) but it's 30fps on graphic mode. Rebirth - from what little I played this game is special too. Edit - include BG3 too. There are tons of high quality games to play! I really don't get the complaints. Jedi survivor is on PS4 too I think. Yes, there are good games. Complaint is, half of the generation is already passed and we do not have 'tons' of quality games as you mentioned. Just compare this with any older gen. Iconic games are missing! But this is also to do with how modern games taking too much time to develop and other stuff. But this is a different topic. These numbers don't compare to numbers in last gen or gen before that in first 4 years. Demon's Souls is a remake of PS3 gen. I think covid has lot to do with games being delayed or not up to mark. Apart from new IP which defines the generation. For PS4 we had Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon. Even for multiplat, story based cinematic games like The Quarry and Until dawn is yet to get a proper this gen game. Not to mention - by the time GTA 6 releases PS6 will be on the horizon and it'll be a much better version than PS5 Pro. I can also see the top 3 games releasing on PS6. FF16 also runs pretty well and offers full 60 fps if you play it in Gameplay Mode (Though at cost of resolution). So PS5 Pro seems to be too little too late for what it offers frankly. Dragon’s Dogma Rise of Ronin StellerBlade Helldivers 2 & Basically every Sony Game that runs at an unlocked Framerate in Quality mode through VRR will run better on PS5pro.
