How You Can Avoid Spoilers

Set your Twitter profile to Protected -- you'll need to authorize folks who want to follow your content, and it'll help you sift through the good guys and bad.

Use Twitter filters -- add various Halo terminology to your global filters, if your Twitter client allows for it, and you won't see any updates with those phrases at all.

Avoid message boards -- Xbox.com, NeoGAF, and other popular forums are filled with reckless posts containing sensitive Halo 4 details.

Don't click links from people you don't trust and don't search Halo 4 on YouTube.

Read comments sections very carefully -- some men just want to watch the world burn. They'll post ending details in the comments section of YouTube and news stories just to ruin it for others.

Get off the grid -- Facebook, Twitter, and anywhere someone can spoil something for you should be ignored if you want to guarantee spoilers won't show up in your feeds.

343 Industies Creative Director Josh Holmes pleaded to his followers, "I've worked for over 3 years making Halo 4. Please avoid spoilers and leaks from thieves for 3 more weeks until the game is out. Thank you."
