PlayStation vs Xbox vs Nintendo thread

Yes it would be priced similarly….i have no doubt.

Because all hardware is being overpriced in today’s times.

But only one is being desperately ridiculed for it.

And it’s more to do because ppl really need it…unlike others.

That is my point.

Xbox isn't ridiculed because of bias or whatever, its because no one gives a sh*t

The actual point of this whole discussion was about comparing PS5 Pro’s 700 USD price tag to Xbox Series X 2 TB Special edition’s 600 USD price tag.

Whats the point of this comparison? What about the disc drive which is sold separately ? That automatically makes it 180$ more expensive than the xbox

WTF about the extra GPU power,Marginal Extra CPU power, the Extra RDNA4 Hardware RT,The Extra PSSR acceleration,The compact & much more refined redesign!!!

They don’t have value more than a $100!?!?

So all that is valueless but an extra TB of storage & the same disc drive hardware from 4 years old warrants an extra $100?!?

Oh the Stars….Yeah the “Special” Stars on the box….how can I forget about that!!

…..

you started the stupid comparison and now you flip it on me .

i just pointed out the comparison was dumb

1tb ps5  disc edition -500

2tb xbox disc edition -600

2tb ps pro without disc-700

2tb ps pro with disc -700+80 =780

Paying for 180 extra i am sure is justified in terms of the new gains .

But then like a dumb sheep stop comparing 600$ console which come with a disc drive to a 700$ console without one ,since its not a fair comparison.

Aaya kuch samjh may ya bus bakwass karni hai twitter sey padh k aakey?

Only thing fair is for M$ to charge $100 extra for 1 tb extra Storage & few stars

But Sony charging $250 extra for:-

-1tb extra storage

-45% more GPU

-15% more CPU

-RDNA4 RT

-PSSR API

-WiFi 7

-Much Compact design

IS TOTALLY UNFAIR

15% more cpu power? Its same cpu. No change in CPU

According to ign -

It's still an 8-core Zen 2 processor, which is still more than enough for modern games. At higher resolutions, like what the PS5 Pro is clearly designed for, most of the work is going to rely on a strong graphics processor, rather than a CPU

Again, you are missing the point entirely.

He is saying that the comparison is dumb. No one’s talking about Pro’s price and how worthy it is for its price.

The comparison is not between two systems but how prices are ought to increase with each added enhancement.

But according to you & few other smart asses a 1tb of extra storage is equivalent to ALL the enhancements I listed above PS5pro has over Base PS5.

Coz you guys except it to be $600 aswell(the same as your special starred SX).

If you still can’t understand that after back n forth then dumbness is a lesser word.

Digital Foundry's analysis on PS5 Pro footage from their Patreon Special (via NeoGaf):

- The Last of Us Part 2 runs at 1440p (internal resolution).

- Ratchet and Clank runs between 1440p-1800p (internal resolution).

- Assassin's Creed Shadows runs at 864p (internal resolution) at 60fps.

- Alan Wake 2 has two modes. 30fps and 60 fps. 60fps mode is 864p (internal resolution). 30fps mode is 1260p (internal resolution).

- GT7 runs at 1188p (internal resolution).

- Forbidden West is not using PSSR. Not 100% sure if it is using 4K checkerboard.

- Dragons Dogma 2 seems to be using PSSR.

- Hogwarts Legacy runs at 30fps.

Internal resolution doesn’t mean sh*t in today’s world.

Also TLOU2 was already running at native 4k @ ~45fps on the base PS5.

On a VRR screen of course.

So it’s running at 1440p at 60fps on PS5pro….the same thing it was achieving on a PS5 already!?!

As I said earlier don’t fall bait to anyone before anything is actually out…

Everyone is eager for your foot to fall on their channel/page/timeline.
