If the demand is less than expected then Sony would drop to $599.

Smart mind would say that there is 1tb back up model if this doesn’t take off.
Planned for 2025 release.

Those are imported units, not official.

Don't think so, coz they are being sold by Electronic Bazaar store, one of amazon India's official sellers.

But again, maybe you are right.. I am out of the loop from a long time.

Exactly

there is no official price….as it’s not an official SKU for India.

OOR is good option but unfortunately no emis like on Amazon. I will wait for it to launch officially

Yeah, same with me. Will probably pull the trigger if it's available easily here.

Despite the price being insane, I already have Fomo coz I have been waiting for this from almost a year and held off from buying the regular PS5 again.

If AW2 looks anywhere close to PC version with RT n stuff, people are in for a treat.

Same. Didn't buy original one because I could wait. A big KLPD for us.

What if we get a disc version at 1 tb at same price!? Disc versions don't need 2 Tb. I personally do not keep more than 2-3 games installed.

Sony's official website confirmed a separate disc drive but I am still hoping a downgraded version with disc and 1 TB.

Hmm, I'll get it at launch too, will recoup some of it selling base version.

Also, the size is same as base version, didn't get fatter like PS4 Pro did over base PS4.

Also pro, this digital only makes sense from Sony perspective when you remember 80% of game softwares they sold was digital, as per last financial report.

Also pro max, might be time to upgrade to 120Hz TV :/
