ok. tried this but no dice. Paypal required phone number while account opening and since I entered Indian number, it created teh account as Indian account. Then when I tried to use PP on BB, it refused stating that the PP should be US based account only.

How is this so restricted?!!!

I tried to buy the card from Amazon.com where I know my card had worked on some other US based purchases, but there the cards dont move to checkout after being added to cart. Keeps showing "Not available any more" when I try to checkout.

Thats odd. I used to use PayPal to import tonnes of stuff from US Amazon and other places via freight forwarders. My account was created ages ago so maybe it's a limitation for accounts that were created only after PayPal officially launched in India I think in the last 3-4 years.

Yup. Even ive been trying to buy MGS HD collection off us store, sadly as soon as I enter the CC details it takes me to Indian region which does not have it listed.

If anyone knows how to buy US xbox cards, please do share.

Forex cards are not supposed to be used for online shopping though, afaik. Never tried it anyway.

If you're talking about International cc then yeah tried it, as soon as I enter the details it reroutes to the Indian store.

You can use them for shopping. I have used my HDFC forex card for many transactions on various sites. It even worked on MS store, not sure about Xbox store.

I'd rather buy for PS then. Why pay more?

Tell Xbox to bring proper top-up cards. Their payment portal sucks!
