They are not worth it. Bought a basic, mediocre and advanced for my parents none could comfort their calves and are always too hard or too gentle on ankles.

 

Returned the mediocre and advanced ones and kept basic due to fk no rerurn policy :(

Question: Will the diwali sales be effective in reliance, croma etc from this week or on diwali exactly?

 

Because I'm planning to visit the store. Don't want to waste time this week if the sale prices are not yet in effect.

Sale price is effective the only better price which you might get is on Dhanteras on Friday

got it from Amazon. Serial number on box doesn’t match serial number showing on phone

 

when I opened AirPods case for the 1st time, there was slight amount of dirt and lint here and there. Many scratches on the case. Crap flimsy quality plastic. Case says “assembled in USA” but has a serial number which is in warranty as per Apple website. ANC and transparency not working. Makes cheap low quality sound when charging starts. It’s guaranteed fake
 

spoke with Amazon customer care for return/replacement as serial numbers are not matching. They noted my issue, raised my complaint ticket and sent me an email that they will investigate and try to resolve my issue in 8 days. Product has 7 days replacement warranty and I asked about this, so they said my complaint was made within 7 days so this window doesn’t matter now

 

any suggestions as next steps?

Unfortunately there's no way to determine the authenticity of airpods as the fake ones are so good that the iPhone detects them and displays the serial number and warranty and everything. 

 

Did you check the warranty coverage on https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ ?

 

If it says it's under warranty, then you can claim it directly from apple authorised service center for a replacement (in case if Amazon doesn't resolve your issue)

My dear man! You may be on to something 

 

the fake AirPods Pro is indeed under warranty coverage till 30 March 2024 as I could see on checkcoverage.apple.com and also shows same warranty coverage on my iPhone when AirPods Pro are connected 

 

but these are sure as sh*t fake because the plastic is just cheap and flimsy. I compared them with other older AirPods non-pro which I have

 

I haven’t really checked these AirPods Pro for ANC properly but it doesn’t seem to be working for the few seconds I checked

 

MAIN QUESTION - since these Pros are in warranty, what should I tell Apple Authorised service centre to get them to replace them?

It is so common that it’s not even surprising. Exactly what’s expected from Amazon or Flipkart.

Did you make unboxing video ?

Stick to Croma/RD/Authorised resellers for AirPods and iPhones (or anything Apple for  that matter and costly phones). 
I was this close to buying the iPhone 14 Plus from Flipkart for a tempting price but the mistrust and poor a*s pushed me to Croma.

Apple won’t replace if the AirPods are fake.
