499 for X also confirmed by WC.

They only shooting themselves with 1st party games being not ready in time. They need to fix that sh*t

Nothing can be done now. If game isn't in a good state then it has to be delayed. Otherwise broken release will generate much worse PR than Craig.

Fan made, well put a gears logo on that subwoofer speaker and it will look kick a*s.

The new Xbox though bad in design, have a huge mod potential.

Series S is actually a very interesting proposition at $299.

I'm pretty sure Microsoft will make sure all its first party games are optimised for X and S. For me Xbox is pretty much just a Forza Horizon box so if it can do FH4 and future FH games 4K60 (even if its upscaled well), I'd be very tempted at that price, colour and form factor. And then Game Pass games would be a bonus. PS5 will be my primary console for third party games anyway.

But my worry would be for people who will buy only one console and go for the Series S. I'm not sure how much time/effort third parties will put into optimising for Xbox One, Series S and Series X. We might just see Series S just getting straight Xbox One ports. But then again, if Series S sells exceedingly well (which it could at this price), then thirds parties might have more incentive to optimise.

Up until now I was thinking of PS5 at launch and Series X 6 months down the line. Now I'm seriously considering Series S at launch too.

Same bro. I absolutely love Forza games but investing in One X just for them didn't make sense for me. If series S is able to run them at 1440p 60fps with upscaling to 4k. I will get it with Ps5.

Although if one was to invest in just a single console then better pony up.

I do think this will sell comparatively well, especially during the holidays when people will be looking for gifts. For a casual gamer or someone into multiplayer, this might make sense.

S and PS5 better choice for people who don't want 2 500$ box.

But if you going for Series X and PS5 then i don't know why would you play multiplatform games on PS5 over Series X when Series X clearly more powerful, unless you playing a online game where you have more friends are on PS5 than seriesX
